This idea that Scotlands budget has been cut by £650m is false and misleading. The SNP are taking into account the extra Covid money we received that was emergency funding it was never meant to be carried on.

The sooner something is done about the ludicrously outdated Barnett formula for the UK government funding for Scotland, the better.
The SNP has a policy of not enforcing compulsory redunancies.
No one wants redundancies, and everything should always be done to ensure they are a last resort.
But, enforcing a blanket ban cannot work as it hamstrings organisations to move forward and to be able to react to the challenges and opportunities of the day.
I also know, first hand, the impact redundancy can have, as I have been through it twice in my 42 year career to date. I'm absolutely not unsympathetic to those affected by it.
But we now find the SNP have spent £27 million on paying salaries to government employees whose jobs no longer exist.
£27 MILLION.
This is outrageous.
And, clearly, if they can afford this they won't mind the Barnett formula finally being scrapped.
After all, what justification have they for keeping it when wasting this shocking amount of taxpayers money??

Andy Burnham has told the Sunday Times that he is open to readopting free movement as part of a closer relationship with the EU. This would be an utter affront to all those - including the millions of working-class voters in Labour's traditional heartlands - who voted for Brexit. At a time when our immigration system remains completely broken, it would also be a calamitous own goal. Under no circumstances should the Labour party go along with it.
