At the @OSCE Permanent Council, we thanked @SRKariJohnstone, Special Representative and Co-ordinator for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings, for her report and leadership. International cooperation remains essential to tackling evolving forms of trafficking and protecting victims.

Thank you for the opportunity to address international diplomats in Warsaw about our reporting from Ukraine. Our job is dangerous – several colleagues have been killed.
It is important that the world receives firsthand information about Russia’s daily terror against civilians.
Important take away on „Reporting in Wartime“ at #WHDC: Russia must stop targeting journalists in Ukraine, we need objective information. Journalists must be better protected, Russia has to respect IHL.

#Cybersecurity is becoming an increasingly important issue within the @OSCE framework as well. 🇩🇪 was pleased to be part of this important side event—we’ll stay on top of it!
📍Quarterly meeting of the OSCE informal working group (IWG) on cyber on 28 September in Zug,
🇫🇷, 🇩🇪, 🇷🇴, and 🇺🇦 co-organized the side event on good practices for strengthening the resilience of critical infrastructure in a public-private partnership approach.
🎯 The objective was to:
1⃣ Promote predictive tools and methodologies aimed at reducing the risks of cyberattacks, and assist decision-making, whether in anticipating a crisis, or managing it.
2⃣ Deepen partnerships between public, and private sectors in a whole-of-society approach in order to enhance protection and resilience of critical infrastructures.
This event provided an opportunity to discuss :
- How to take advantage of an isolated cyber incident, and extend lessons learned to all sectors of activity.
- How relevant is the EU regulatory framework on critical infrastructure protection, and resilience, thanks to lessons learned from Ukraine in the context of the war of agression of Russia.
- How to integrate human factor and agency in the management of cyber risk.
- Showcase the importance of implementing AI-assisted data analytics, as a major shift in operational intelligence seems to have emerged.
.@OSCE PC today, we commemorated the victims of the #BabynYar massacre, murdered by Germans 85 years ago. Out of Germany’s historical guilt and responsibility, we resolutely oppose all forms of military aggression and flagrant human rights violations and #StandwithUkraine
