The future is yours to build.
In Nairobi, Sir Paul J. Foster had the privilege of spending time with students at the Catholic University of Eastern Africa and sharing a simple belief: human ingenuity is our greatest natural resource.
The future will not be shaped by technology alone. It will be shaped by people who imagine, create, solve problems, build companies, develop new technologies, tell new stories, and turn ideas into something real.
Games can be part of that journey. So can education, technology, entrepreneurship, creativity, and innovation. The opportunity is bigger than any one industry.
Nairobi → Dubai → Los Angeles → The World.
At the heart of GEF's global #worldconnected vision are two Super Hubs: Dubai and Los Angeles. Dubai connects capital, government, technology, and commerce, while Los Angeles connects technology, entertainment, media, sport, games, and culture.
The ambition is to connect a great idea in Nairobi, and Africa, to that global ecosystem, creating pathways to technology, investment, media, markets, and audiences, while bringing knowledge, investment, and opportunity back to Africa.
Because #worldconnected is not simply about connecting places. It is about connecting human potential.
You do not have to inherit the future. You can build it.
Show us what you can build. We will meet you there.
