We are very sad to announce that George Fenton passed away unexpectedly on Monday 5th October 2026.
He is survived by his loving wife Amanda, ex-wife Jane, children Gemma, Grace and Bridget, and Grandchildren Lola, Audrey, Alfred, George, Frank, Beatrice and a life of music.

Stage Beauty is set in reign of Charles 2nd - a lot of the score reflects the period whilst hopefully still operating as film music. But the film also feels very modern particularly the two central characters played brilliantly by Billy Crudup and Clare Danes. (1/2) ✍️ GF
