Quick update on Valuable items you DON'T want to sell in COD #MW4 DMZ.
5x Nuclear Program Files
15x Degraded Execution Footage
5x Regional Combat Notes
5x Ballistic Flight Logs
5x Infantry Invasion Plans
5x W.M.D Manifest
5x Foreign Intelligence Targets
Just a quick tip if you're playing Call of Duty #MW4 DMZ. DO NOT sell all your "Treasure" items.
You will need at least
5x Nuclear Program Files
5x Degraded Execution Footage
5x Regional Combat Notes
5x Ballistic Flight Logs
5x Infantry Invasion Plans
These are all for upgrading the FOB. There may be more
Nobody is ever more eager and excited to post economy breaking exploits than the FPS community 😆
Dont shit on your own doorstep.
Something awesome happens if you leave Lieutenant Dog Tags on the exfil chopper with a squad...
Nobody gets the rewards, the cash doesn't count, and it doesn't count towards objectives 🤣
Was testing to see if we could game the Exfil 5 Lieutenant Dog Tags objective; you cannot lol
Happy days for whoever calls the chopper next!
The UAV Radar trucks in #MW4 DMZ are like demon carriages riding around a level. They are SO strong.
Once repaired, you can drive them around as a permanent UAV.
They are most often near Gas Stations, but not always. Typically, at the Gas Station, you can find 1-2 parts to repair it.
Best thing to do is to find one near a Gas Station. Loot the area, then take all of the parts from the truck there and take it all to the next truck. That's usually enough to get one up and running.
The DMZ Orders in #MW4 DMZ tell players to use the DDOS to disable the Tank's Adaptive Armor.
If you don't have a DDOS to hand, Shock Sticks also work. They can disable the armor long enough to land rocket/lethal attacks to tank it down.
Many of the #MW4 DMZ Orders that require you to extract with items can be simplified.
If you already have the item, bring it into the DMZ with you. Drop them on the floor, then pick them back up.
This will count as a fresh extraction when you leave and complete the objective.
(Not all objectives require you to drop, but doing so makes sure it'll work)
Am I missing something with Dog Tags in #MW4 DMZ?
They take up an entire slot, are worth nothing, and the case upgrade to hold more has insane requirements.
Are they just for keeping on the off chance you net a bounty? Bragging rights if you kill a streamer?
Feels like a completely useless feature up to this point lol
So with plenty more hours in #MW4 DMZ, and with a wave of new players hitting in this weekend, a quick reminder about selling Valuable items.
You will need AT LEAST the following:
5x Nuclear Program Files
15x Degraded Execution Footage
5x Regional Combat Notes
5x Ballistic Flight Logs
5x Infantry Invasion Plans
5x W.M.D Manifest
5x Foreign Intelligence Targets
Storage is restricting a lot of people. I recommend NOT selling the Rare or Epic valuables.
The Uncommons, while still annoying to farm, are much easier to replace.
For example, I haven't sold ONE W.M.D Manifest or Foreign Intelligence Targets. In 80 hours I've found 5 WMDs and 3 FITs.
Some have said the Skulls are also required, but I've not been able to verify this myself.
Most of these are for MIA Recovery upgrades, so if you're mostly free-kitting with level 0 Operatives, it's not as important.

Finally caught some actual footage. Gold Bars & Skulls are needed
4 days since Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4 DMZ was available.
Days 0-3: Nothing
Day 4: I sold 1 Legendary Crossfire, 1 Legendary Weapon, and a stack of 10 Stock Rods by LEANING ON MY GOD DAMN R2 button
Has this happened to anyone else? 🤣
Probably the best gun I've found in #MW4 DMZ so far.
Drops from The Chemist in the Nuclear Reactor area
I've fought 6 or 7 Lieutenants and 2/3 Commanders in #MW4 DMZ so far.
Must admit, I think they are fantastic. Real good mix of mechanics and difficulty levels.
Think the Colossus is a bit overused; probably killed that dude 6 times by now lol
Overall, great base; really hope to see more down the line.
I don't know what monster decided this was the best way to sort guns in the Weapon Stash #MW4 DMZ
But I don't like you 😆
This was my haul from the DRC Locker in the Mall. Not as good as the one in the Reactor, but still pretty good loot #MW4 DMZ
This is a map of the spawn locations for each Story Mission in #MW4 DMZ
Worth knowing these for two reasons. Being able to efficiently farm/reach specific locations while avoiding random spawns.
And knowing where enemy players may be in relation to your spawn location.
For example, if I were looking to PvP, I would likely spawn at Critical Extraction (H) and look to ambush the Fallen Ember spawn (F) as they clear the entrance to the reactor.
That's IF two story spawns can be active in the same lobby.
If you play with a regular group in #MW4 DMZ, combining materials to complete Uncommon & Epic Ingredient Printing in the FOB is HUGE.
The biggest progress blockers are Epic items such as Comms Modules and Power Regulators.
Having one of your squad be able to craft these, with materials that are much simpler to find, can really speed up everyones progress.
Using the Casino Story Mission spawn (S) in #MW4 DMZ features a quick and profitable key run.
Gun Locker Keys
3x Gun Lockers can be found at location 1. Great as a solo with all 3 keys or easy with a squad and a key each.
Vault Armory
If you don't have the Counting Room Key, you can quickly and easily reach the Vault Armory through either a tunnel in the police station, or a water entry tunnel located at point 2.
These two entry points helps avoiding players who may be in/at the casino.
Counting Room
If you have the Counting Room Key, you can head straight from the Gun Lockers, into the front of the Casino, door on the right, door on the left, you're there.
Probably my best single loot run in #MW4 DMZ so far.
$43k Assault Rifle
Signal 50 Manual
FINN LMG Manual
Ballistic Gel 3 Plate Vest
Second DRC Locker I've done; it definitely seems to have the best loot.
I'm not a big Call of Duty fan, I haven't LOVED once since OG MW2. Combination of the games losing a bit of identity while just losing interest in FPS games as a whole.
That said, and I've got no idea what the wider community thinks, but this is easily the best COD in years.
The Campaign/story is fantastic (although the open-world level feels out of place and poorly executed).
DMZ, although suffering from some fundamental issues, is a fantastic way to build on the beta
Can't comment much on the MP, too slow to compete with the kids today, but the rest of the package is awesome.
I've got about 80 hours in #MW4 DMZ, and my biggest complaint is the PvP. It's rubbish. It's not PvP, it's ganking.
I can still count how many ACTUAL PvP fights I've had on one hand.
Typically, if both teams are aware of the other, there is no fight. They parade around a bit, maybe take the odd pop shot, but that's it.
It's only when one side has the drop on the other that PvP happens (in my experience).
The SMG TTK is insane. The only reason to bring in a specced AR or mid-range weapon is for specific PvE content.
Otherwise, you may as well slap on a 2-plate vest, a small backpack, and bring in an SMG. Take what you need off dead players.
Other Extraction games I've played struggle with this dilemma, but months into release, not straight off the bat.
