The fact that Elmo just set fire to a half of billion this election cycle makes me fucking giddy
It has taken way too many of you, way too long, to realize that Trump is a self absorbed, criminal, piece of shit.

$40T in debt and we got nothing to show for it.
No bullet trains
No modern infrastructure
No healthcare
It’s literally all for pedos and war
And they have the audacity to give me a credit score.
Buttigieg: This isn't happening because of Covid. The gas prices aren't happening because Putin started a war. Gas prices are happening because Donald Trump started a war. Mortgage rates are over 7% because the Trump administration decided to give away $1 trillion in tax breaks to corporations and the wealthiest people in the country, blew up the deficit while doing so.
It's not even that they tried and failed to lower costs. It's that their choices have actively, directly increased costs. And as you can tell from the president's performance today, they don't care.

During her adolescence, Sabrina Gonzalez Pasterski constructed a functioning aircraft from an assembly kit and piloted the vehicle independently by the age of sixteen. Today, the prominent theoretical physicist, frequently compared to Albert Einstein by academic peers, conducts research aimed at uncovering the fundamental mathematical structure governing the cosmos. She currently serves as a faculty member at the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics in Ontario, Canada, where she manages the Celestial Holography Initiative.
Her primary research focuses on quantum gravity, a profound challenge in modern physics centered on reconciling Albert Einstein's general relativity, which explains macro-scale gravity, space, and time, with quantum mechanics, which dictates the behavior of subatomic particles. Within this domain, she has formulated a novel structural framework designed to describe the essential physics of our universe.
This model, known as celestial holography, maps bulk gravitational interactions onto a lower-dimensional boundary. The paradigm conceptualizes the universe similarly to a standard hologram, suggesting that four-dimensional spacetime phenomena can be mathematically encoded on a vast, distant spherical boundary encompassing the cosmos, mirroring the way a flat surface stores a three-dimensional visual image. Pasterski notes that the highly specialized nature of this advanced framework limits meaningful discussion of her research to a few thousand experts globally.
Her path to high-energy physics deviated significantly from traditional academic trajectories. After completing her experimental aircraft construction as a teenager, she attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, graduating in 2013 with the highest achievable grade point average in the physics department. She subsequently pursued graduate studies at Harvard University, earning a doctorate in 2019.
During her doctoral work, she co-discovered a novel manifestation of infrared physics known as the spin memory effect. This phenomenon represents a permanent, physical distortion or angular momentum imprint left behind in the fabric of spacetime after the passage of gravitational waves. While these concepts currently remain entirely theoretical, they establish a foundational roadmap for ongoing investigations into quantum gravity.

Flavio’s father lost an election in Brazil, staged an attack on the government buildings and is doing 27 years in prison.
Flavio also lost his election and is now wanted for money laundering.
Our country now gives shelter to people just like Trump, corrupt and very rich.

Michael Dell: A 70% tax rate? "Name a country where that worked. Ever."
The United States, from 1936 to 1980.
Dumbass.🤦🏻♀️
Tax rates rose to 79% in 1936, rose up to 94% during WWII, fell to 82% in 1949, hovered at 91% from '51 to 63, and then stayed at 70% or above until 1980.
These rates drove us out of the depression and into powerhouse economies.
It was not until Reagan crashed the rates into the 30% range that we started accumulating massive debt and income inequality.
Facts matter.
And the facts show:
Republicans are not good for the economy.

Trump promised to “Drain the Swamp.” Then he made $2 billion off the presidency.
He promised to “Make America Healthy Again.” Then he took healthcare from 15 million people.
He promised “No More Wars.” Then he attacked Iran.
Say NO to Trump. Say NO to a Republican Congress.

In 1952, an English teacher named Cecil Dormand secretly paid for a dirt-poor 11-year-old to take a drama course.
He never told him and the boy didn’t find out until decades later.
By then, he was a knight, that little boy’s name was Patrick Stewart.
He was born into a poor family in Mirfield, a small mill town in Yorkshire and his father came home from World War II a violent man, and he was violent toward Patrick’s mother.
Young Patrick learned exactly when to step between his father’s fist and his mother.
An English teacher put a copy of Shakespeare in his hand and told him to get up and perform.
He never stopped and left school at 15.
By 19 he was completely bald... most agencies told him he'd never make it because of that.
In 1987, the LA Times called him an “unknown British Shakespearean actor” when he was cast as Captain Picard.
Then he became one of the most famous faces on Earth.
You’ve probably heard that part.
Here’s the part you haven’t:
He spent decades as a patron of Refuge, sheltering women and children from domestic violence.
But he never stopped trying to understand his father.
He dug up a 1940 newspaper clipping that said his dad had come home with severe shell shock.
He went to France and walked the ground where his father’s unit was pinned down under bombing for hours.
He learned his father had PTSD, and nobody ever helped him.
So Patrick became an ambassador for Combat Stress, a charity that helps veterans.
In 2013, a young woman at a Texas convention told him she was a survivor of domestic violence.
He asked, “My dear, are you okay?”
Then he hopped off the stage, held her, and told her: “You never have to go through that again, you’re safe now.”
At Dragon Con, a Make-A-Wish girl dressed as Spock came to meet him.
2,000 people were waiting for him to speak... he sat down and talked with her for 15 minutes, making all of them wait.
He told her that since they were friends now, whenever she saw him on screen she could wave and say, “Hello Patrick.”
After 9/11, he felt helpless, so he brought his one-man A Christmas Carol back to Broadway for a full week of charity shows.
He played every character himself and donated every cent.
In 2019 he did it again, and every dollar went to feeding hungry New Yorkers.
In 2017, he fostered a pit bull named Ginger, who had been rescued from a dogfighting ring.
She was his first dog in more than 50 years.
He couldn’t bring her home to England, so he found her a family.
Then he kept fostering more.
When he said he was done with Star Trek so many people told him the show had gotten them through the hardest times of their lives.
So he wanted to see if Picard could do it one more time.
Rest in Peace, Sir Patrick 🖖
There was an article written years ago where Derek Jeter was looking back on his career and one of the moments that stood out to him and stuck with him was a moment in spring training in 1996 .
He said Don Mattingly saw him walking off the field and whispered to him , “let’s run not walk , you never know who’s watching”
Jeter thought at first maybe it was about fans but later understood it was about how to carry yourself as a Yankee .
Mattingly in an interview later said he witnessed Jeter run on and off the field the rest of his career and didn’t realize how much that small moment impacted Jeter , as he was in that moment referring to the Boss.
That small thing set an example for his career and how players around Derek as he became who we all know him to be saw him exemplify what it means to be a Yankee.
“The Yankee Way” …… it might be dead now but I remember these things and it meant something to me as a fan . Being a Yankee meant something , even to people who didn’t like baseball.
Now we’re the butt of jokes .
There was one player I ever heard say they didn’t want to be a Yankee , that was Griffey Jr and he had his reason . That’s it , just one in 40 years . Over the last 5-8 years I’ve heard numerous players say it .
wtf happened to us

BREAKING: America's 706 biggest corporations paid a 10.4% tax rate on $1.88 TRILLION in profits last year.
That's the lowest rate researchers have found in more than 40 years of tracking.
It's also less than half the 21% rate they're supposed to pay.
This is insane.
