We've been pleased to once again host the annual tournament held in memory of Godwin Lawson. Godwin was a keen young footballer from Enfield who tragically lost his life to knife crime in 2010.
We work with @GLFoundation_ to share anti-knife crime messages through football ⚽️

So sad to hear. Richard turned the power of his love for his son into the power of campaigning for change and giving hope to young people. Prayers are with his family and friends. And gratefulness from us all who recognised and were touched by the impact of his work.
Richard’s family are very sad to make the news public that Richard passed away last night. He had been fighting a long battle with cancer. Sending love and best wishes to all who loved him dearly … #LegacyOfHope

Very powerful seeing @GLFoundation_ on @BBCBreakfast this morning talking about knife crime. Truly so much more needs to be done. We haven't come anywhere as far as we should be in terms of tackling the issues.
