Bin men waking up at 4am to do manual, smelly work in all weathers is simply not the same job as being a teaching assistant. ‘Equal value’ laws which demand they are paid the same are clearly wrong and unfair. This is also putting hundreds of millions of pounds of taxpayers’ money into the pockets of lawyers. This is why we would scrap ‘work of equal value’ claims.
