For decades, wealth inequality has been sold to the public in neoliberal terms as a necessary symptom of meritocracy (e.g. great man theory of business).
This was convenient as it allowed for uniform messaging across both investors and the general public.
Enter AI (the most anti-meritocratic tech possibly ever) and the messaging suddenly has to pivot 180° depending on the audience.
To investors: "We are centralizing process knowledge to automate all white-collar labor reaping trillions in profit. Invest to escape the permanent underclass!"
To the public: "We are democratising intelligence to usher a golden age of post-scarcity where money won't matter."
There's no "messaging problem". The political stance is either incoherent or insincere. The median voter can tell atp.

Does somebody win, nobody win, or everybody wins?
A lot of the arguments seem to be "well, we'll win, and if you don't have the leverage to be part of 'us', you should be happy for us while you catastrophically lose. Skill issue btw"
Dems just won and Altman immediately changed his narrative and name
People should always be in control of the future.
OpenAI is against the notion that it would be acceptable for people to be relegated to a role of doing things that “AI systems think makes sense to reward in humans”.
People should not cede control of the future to superintelligence, and that requirement should ultimately constrain AI progress.
We got american Mistral before GTA 6

Genuinely, how deep into AI psychosis do you have to be to think you need this 😭 ?
We’ve raised $1.3M from YC & Afore Capital so you never have to type or speak again.
Typing is slow. Talking into your computer is awkward. Subvocal fixes both
Our glasses give you the speed of speech without you making a sound or touching a keyboard.
It tracks your internal speech muscles with non-contact sensing and decodes silent, almost invisible mouthing into text at more than 200 words/min.
