15TH ANNIVERSARY SEASON ANNOUNCEMENT!
In 26/27 we celebrate 15 years of making ambitious choral music. There’s plenty to look forward to: new commissions, world premieres, a new recording and a lot of singing.

Last night over 150 singers joined together at our open rehearsal to start working on Jay Capperauld’s choral work, ‘The Winter’s Brightening’, with lyrics by Niall Campbell.
Here’s a little flavour of the extraordinary sound created after 90 minutes…
Last night we opened the doors and new voices joined 150 GSA Choir members for an evening of singing, finding out what happens when those individual voices become one extraordinary sound.
To everyone who came along: thank you. We hope you enjoyed singing with us!
Our open rehearsal is this evening, and there's still time to come along.
No audition. No need to read music. Just bring yourself, find your voice, and see what 150 singers can make together.

An excerpt from ‘Turning Earth’ by composer, Harry Baines, with lyrics from Greta Stoddart’s beautiful poem of the same name.
We premiered this wonderful piece of music at our Summer concert last week and even now, nearly one week later, we’re still feeling all the feelings. 💔
What an incredible, shining night at our Summer concert yesterday. ✨
The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the premiere of ‘Turning Earth’, composed by Harry Baines with lyrics by Greta Stoddart. 🌎

Our Summer concert is tomorrow! One of the highlights will be 'Sous Bois' by Lili Boulanger, with a poem by Philippe Gille, describing two lovers as they walk through the forest, reminiscing on the beauty of nature.
Music and lyrics aside, it's got the most beautiful manuscript.
In advance of Saturday, we wanted to share this wonderful video of poet, Greta Stoddart, reading her poem, 'Turning Earth' which has been set by Harry Baines in a new work commissioned especially for Saturday's concert.
