They’ve been doing it for years, lowest paid cleaners, catering staff, janitors, security staff, as well as staff such as library assistants have been treated the worst through years of austerity & cuts

A real kick in the teeth for lowest paid staff @UofGlasgow Covid bonus £600 awarded to highest paid staff on £68-100k is 2.4 times more than bonus of £250 for lowest paid on average of £18k who struggled the most- sad, disrespectful & insulting to them🙈
The university is really outdoing itself on how awful it has behaved around the case of the Murano 12...

and i'm glad that students aren't putting up with it anymore!! but it's ridiculous that in order to do so they have to relive traumatic events & face eviction. disgusting behaviour from the university, especially this year
Your testimony is powerful, the time has come for students to take power against exploitative university landlords! ✊✊✊
Since September no one has taken responsibility for the situation students have been put in.

I raised it at my first court meeting in 2017 as Rector that I was the only person of colour on the university court, of course now there are none, didn’t need an investigation to tell them they were all white at court & Senior management 🙈 – at Glasgow, Scotland
Yesterday’s UofG report into racism noted the lack of diversity in management.
And minutes from June 2020’s Court meeting detail the of appointment two white men while saying ‘we need more diversity’
The same meeting they decided investment in arms was OK, while affirming ‘BLM’

We’ve announced that overseas students in our universities & colleges can now access the latest student hardship funds. Many face #COVID19 challenges & this will build on institutions’ existing support from own resources. @uni_scot @CollegesScot @NUSScotland @ScotFundCouncil

This is the man with whom the University of Glasgow's decision to invest in the arms trade resides.
His claims of anti-racism are hollow, and his mention of the 'mechanisms and processes which produce' racism is a box ticking exercise.
You can't be anti-racist arms investors.
