WTF is going on!!!!🤯😲 ONE Championship just released the following statement on their social media platforms explaining that they are proceeding with legal action against Rodtang for breech of contact 😳 Here is what they had to say: “ONE Championship Statement ONE Championship would like to provide a clear and transparent clarification to our fans, athletes, and partners. At this time, we have initiated legal proceedings in Singapore, Japan, and Thailand against “Rodtang” due to multiple breaches of his contractual obligations with ONE. We maintain a strict policy regarding contract violations, including the dissemination of potentially misleading information and statements that may be considered defamatory. In the past, we have made continuous and sincere efforts to work with Rodtang in good faith. However, as contractual obligations have been repeatedly disregarded, we are now compelled to take appropriate and decisive action in the best interests of all stakeholders within the ONE ecosystem. The review and investigation process is currently ongoing, and we will continue to coordinate closely with the relevant authorities in each country in accordance with legal procedures. The legal actions that have been initiated are intended to seek appropriate damages in the relevant jurisdictions. In the meantime, ONE will refrain from providing further comments regarding the details of these legal proceedings.” This is absolutely insane!! Rodtang has a fight booked this month against Takeru for the ONE flyweight kickboxing world title and ONE announce they are proceeding with legal action against him??!! Will this fight even take place now??? I will post all updates when more information comes to light.
