A 3rd round throw of 17.60m means Sophie won't make the Olympic final this time...

A 2nd round no throw leaves Sophie outside of qualification for the final. She needs a big one in round 3 but we all know it's in her. Good luck girl, c'mon Sophie 🤞

1st round throw of 17.81m left @sophiemac10 4th in her pool. 9th overall. 2nd round throw coming up shortly...

Automatic qualification in round 1 would be lovely thank you very much! C'mon @sophiemac10 we're all behind you 💪

... Or have one of the 12 best performances across the 2 qualifying pools to also advance to the final.
All the very best of luck @sophiemac10 throwing in @Tokyo2020 Shot Put qualification this morning. Her event starts at 11:25am UK time.
