By chapter 2, they had already introduced Beerus and Champa btw, making the entirety of DBS Beerus one long arc in the manga, instead of 3 Granted they treated RES F like DBS Broly

It’s actually Vegeta who is wasting Beerus’ time. He seemingly has no interest in Vegeta, whereas in the anime there’s a comparison to Goku and even a preference to Vegeta Both have no mention of ss3 Gotenks or Gohan

I certainly prefer everyone fighting Beerus out of ignorance and then Vegeta introducing who Beerus is As opposed to everyone knowing Beerus is acquainted with Vegeta and then Vegeta goes to fight Beerus before the Bulma scene

I do like that they made it clear that Beerus spares Earth over the food, as opposed to some arbitrary fight. Though the manga has a more serious tone, anime Beerus is alot more sympathetic and understanding. Manga Beerus DGAF

I actually liked that scene. Despite firmly claiming they were enemies, Vegeta is still in the same spot during the boo and Beerus encounter. Suggesting they’re not, but it feels weird to say otherwise.

I thought it was intentional, while Vegeta is contemplating his relationship with Goku, all hell breaks loose, suggesting he should abandoned the heavy importance of who or what Goku is to him But the rest of the episode suggests it was just a cut scene😭 kinda confusing

Come to think of it, non of the other villains had to consciously address their relationship with Goku. Ten makes it clear, before Bulma’s birthday, he only shows up for battle, they’re not friends Piccolo connects with Goku indirectly through Gohan Yamcha the same with Bulma

Vegeta seemingly is the only one who directly connects with Goku. Though, Goku isn’t sentimental and doesn’t penny thoughts for friendship. He’s more of an Ally and friendly person, a lot of his character is detached from typical human accustoms ( which makes people mad somehow )
