I don’t think we get unscripted gameplay until about a week or few days before launch. Then Rockstar won’t care to show it. Right now they are protecting pre orders. Careful what is shown.
To be fair the rebuilding of Xbox is still in infant stage. It'll be well into next gen to see results. Everyone just needs to go play games, this will be years.

but what if people start to prefer doing this over normal games? What if they rather sit down 3 hours every day and enjoy their one of a kind world? Could be a new addiction like Social Media.

yes, this could become a new form of entertainment leaving normal gaming to dry up. Im not saying this is replacing games, just might steal peoples free time instead of games.

Branding matters more than games these days. A good brand can sell consoles with a game drought. It’s just the start of Xbox branding rebuild.
It’s was a gamble MS took. They knew removing it from game pass could mean less players. Question is did they like the results? Did enough people buy it to justify losing players and micros transactions?
Taking it out of game pass did not guarantee everyone would buy it. I'm waiting a year and still going to play it on game pass.
All you gotta do is make realistic grounded games based on real society. I think fantasy games are becoming less popular with younger gamers. Being able to express yourself in GTA Online is huge with gamers.
Not sure why everyone picks on game pass. It already offers three tiers at different price points and features. I never see a fuss over PS+ Ubisoft + or GTA+ . I feel like game pass is expected to give you day one games cheap as possible while stay sustainable for Ms.
Unlikely. Brands are protective of their image. They won’t even let cars take massive damage in Forza Horizon much less run over pedestrians in GTA 6 lol
