I didn’t think this was a real thing until I saw this at GameStop yesterday.

I am writing to ask that you support the Power to the Players Act that has recently been announced by Ritchie Torres. It is EXTREMELY important for consumers to be able to own their digital video game purchases. If these video game companies are able to pull the plug on something you purchased, that is like walking into our homes and stealing what we as consumers paid hard earned money for (A lot of money too as some new games are now starting at $80 each). If companies are going to go all digital, consumers need protections that their purchases are permanent and not "revocable licenses." Recently, Sony has stated in a recent California court filing that "Reasonable consumers would not be misled" into thinking they own digital games purchased on the PlayStation Store. This is a ridiculous defense and "reasonable" companies should understand that when you purchase something, it is yours for as long as you can take care of it.
My #Playstation was trying to update to 14.20. I'm like nah I think I'll keep mine at 14.10. 😀
..... you don't make enough money from Madden/Fifa and their predatory microtransactions to warrant keeping #Bioware and the #MassEffect series alive... Nobody likes you #EA.
You know what is more important than your job, you (Your happiness, your mental health, your sanity etc). Do something for YOU for once. If you are excited to play #GTA6 it on launch day, do it. Take the time YOU earned to do what YOU want.

So I have a story on this....
Back in the day I had one of the first PS3s that had backward compatiblity. One day I was playing my wedding dvd and the disc drive died with the dvd inside. I was freaking out and a friend to pull it apart to remove it.
I called Sony asking for them to fix it or if they had a service centre I can take it to even if I had to pay and the customer service rep straight out told me to buy a PS4 instead and that if I try and repair it without their consent I will void their agreement and lose my account.
Now, being naive I believed the rep, but was so heartbroken as I lost access to all my PS2 and PS1 games, not to mention that PS4 couldn't play PS3 either.
I was gifted a PS4 otherwise I would of never of purchased another PS again. I called them up later when PS5 came out to see if it was backward compatible and they told me that they don't have the technology to be backward compatible to PS3, PS2 and PS1 as they use different discs...
This realisation now really burns my already sour view of them lately
Jailbroken PS5 console managed to make PlayStation 2 games run on PS5 from disc, without even importing digital files🚀
This means Sony were deliberately keeping players from running their games that can work just fine, just so they can sell the games again on PS Store / PS+
Modders are also working on making PS3 games run from disc on PS5, also after Sony telling us it’s “hard” to do so, due to “different infrastructure”
And now you see how far Sony’s greed has gotten. XBOX could always run games from all past generations, full backwards compatibility, yet Sony somehow pretended it was hard, and they once pretended to be shocked as to “why would anyone wanna play old games”?
And there you have it, it’s greed. The same reason they wanna convince you discs are a niche market and don’t sell when data proved them wrong💿

My god they cooked with this one! Right out of the gate the movement and control scheme feel slick as hell and the new power slide added is a VERY welcome addition to the series! Gunplay still has that weighty feel to it and the melee is much better this time around as it seems you can aim in the general direction of an enemy and your attack will land. Very excited to plow through this game cause it just seems like good old fashioned fun!

Hey @GameyeVG, is it possible to have the app sync with the @DoesItPlay1 database to show which physical games require a download to play? That would be fantastic especially for backing up all the PS5 games (Which I hear you can do now on a jailbroken #PS5) 😀
We might need to do the same thing with our video games as @RetroMediaRoom did with his Alien movie collection, buy custom made slipcovers, box art etc. Great video!

For years I've hated North American marketing that you HAVE to cram anything and everything onto the cover art, otherwise they think people won't know what it is and hurt sales.
A bit of art and mystery was what SOLD me while browsing movies and games in video stores growing up!
