YouTube has actually scammed me. I used the YouTube Creator Music program, where you were able to buy licenses for music for use in videos. Earlier this month, they phased out this program, with the promise that existing licenses will not be affected. Spoiler: they were.

Small Update: I found this video by Dime Store Adventures that confirms that this is not just an issue limited to me. Multiple channels that have bought these licenses have been affected by this which is really not a good look on YouTube. youtube.com/watch?v=hqPNCc0Y…

UPDATE: After getting in contact with @.TeamYouTube, it seems the affected videos' monetization have been returned and the issue has been addressed. Frustrating and long experience but glad that it was finally resolved. Hope any other creator with this issue will also be helped.

@TeamYouTube i would like a human to take a look at this thread and issue and not just an automated response that fails to address the issue at hand

Replying to @TeamYouTube
The issue is not with the claimant, it is the fact that the music licenses that I PAID for through YouTube's own service were revoked without my approval despite YouTube allegedly honoring them, which led to the content ID claims. This is a YouTube issue.
