Our Pupil Prayer Leaders @StJohnVianneySc had a fantastic day at the Salford Diocese training event at @loretocollege 🙏 It was wonderful to meet pupils from other schools, take part in inspiring workshops, and learn how to write meaningful prayers and lead worship. @JusYouth2

As part of our afternoon routine, we check in with our Zones of Regulation @StJohnVianneySc, we’ve linked Scripture to each zone, helping pupils use the Word of God for guidance and support. In C4, pupils led this beautifully—checking in and sharing scripture cards with each other

Lead members of @StJohnVianneySc GIFT team were delighted to host St Alphonso’s Mini Vinnies. We toured the school, prayed together and explored future collaboration—building strong links within our Catholic community. @RCSalfordEd #Catholics #Community

C4 @StJohnVianneySc enjoyed some enrichment time in @MayfieldMCR park. They had a task to independently order their ice cream, work out best value & change. They did a great job 👏 key life skills

Class 11 @StJohnVianneySc are studying Buddhism here we all picked our favourite artefacts. They enjoyed looking at the items and we discussed what they are used for and how some items are similar to items they have on their prayer table.

Mrs Foden @StJohnVianneySc led a further staff training session on British sign language. This time the staff were learning the school 🙏 which we also sing 🎵 our students are also learning it , and the GIFT team are signing hymns. @RCSalfordEd

Wishing Father Nick, chaplain of @StJohnVianneySc, a very happy birthday. We deeply appreciate your dedication to our community and to all @JustYouth2 ministries & all the schools you work in

Thank you to the entire @JustYouth2 team for making @StJohnVianneySc so welcome & looking after us so well. We truly grew in Faith together & we genuinely felt the Holy Spirit at work as we celebrated Pentecost @NewmanRCCollege @StPetersUK @AH_Chaplain @RCSalfordEd

Representatives of GIFT team @StJohnVianneySc were honoured to attend the @JustYouth2 Pentecost retreat alongside fellow schools who collaborate with Just Youth To enrich their religious & liturgical programmes It was a beautiful day to reflect on the true meaning of Pentecost

Mrs Foden gave a creative and insightful reflection today,@StJohnVianneySc creative & full of insights linking the gospel writers to popular culture. Moments like this are why I value our voluntary reflection — a chance to reflect , grow, pause and share spirituality together

Our chaplain @StJohnVianneySc the fabulous Father Nick may be away on retreat, but we were truly blessed to have Father Fabias and Father Emmanuel step in. Their beautiful staff Mass this morning was the perfect way to begin the day @JustYouth2 @RCSalfordEd

Class 4 @StJohnVianneySc have been loving their enrichment session this week. They took what they learned in science and applied it through kite challenges exploring wind force and movement. Learning is always an adventure at SJV.

These pieces are something special. Created by our pupils during our Old Testament Deep Learning Day @StJohnVianneySc they reflect the awe, joy, and discovery they’ve felt throughout the journey. Can’t wait to see their creativity shine again when we move on to the New Testament

Last night we had the privilege of representing @StJohnVianneySc at the Memorial Mass for the sister of our wonderful Chaplain, Father Nick. We joined his @JustYouth2 community in prayer, solidarity and support. Walking together as one family in faith.

So grateful to the local SJV community members who joined us for Mass today. We hold a weekly voluntary Mass and open our doors every first Friday. Sharing the Holy Eucharist with our neighbours is a real blessing for us and our SEND community. @RCSalfordEd @JustYouth2

The Gift Team leaders at SJV helped distribute leaflets across our local area, encouraging community members to come and celebrate Mass with us. Welcoming our neighbours, particularly in spiritual matters, is an essential part of who we are. @RCSalfordEd @SalfordDiocese

While teaching Year 12 at @StJohnVianneySc about judgement and the afterlife — Heaven, Purgatory, and Hell — I was explaining how our choices echo beyond this life. Suddenly a student leapt up and said, “Can I draw that?” The artwork they produced was brilliant.#Catholic

Congratulations to @StJohnVianneySc former Chaplain Father Pat who completed the London Marathon for Action for homeless a charity close to heart . An amazing achievement @JustYouth2 #Catholic #Faithinaction

C4 at SJV enjoyed a fantastic cycling session at Longford Park as part of our enrichment programme. With activities ranging from farm visits and forest school to travel training, independence & CAD, we’re proud to offer a diverse curriculum that builds confidence and life skills.

Huge thanks to our lead GIFT/chaplaincy members @StJohnVianneySc who helped us settle back in after Easter. They made sure the chapel and every form prayer table had the correct liturgical cloth. They did a fantastic job and we’re grateful for their care and the time they took
