Bashir Usman Shaikh, 54, founder of Adarsh International School, has been arrested under the POCSO Act and Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita for the sexual harassment of minor girl students. He stayed absconding for days until police tracked him down. An SIT led by a woman IPS officer is now checking if more students were targeted over the years. Local protests are intense. Parents and activists say this was not an isolated case and want the strictest action. Some are calling him India’s Epstein. Police have asked every possible victim and parent to come forward. Identity will stay protected. Schools are meant to be the safest place for our daughters. When that trust breaks, the whole system must answer.
This what a cult does to mind of people. They completely forget that the idol they are degrading were worshiped by their ancestors before they converted.

@Garima, my dear, do not flinch. What you posted was anodyne satire, no nomenclature, no obscenity, no dehumanisation.
The allegation of "misuse of images" of public political spokespersons like @Pawankhera and @SupriyaShrinate collapses on first principles. Public figures, public images, public commentary, protected speech in any functioning democracy.
This quixotic crusade where a complaint to a party's legal cell is paraded as "suo moto cognisance by the Supreme Court of INC" is both legally illiterate and intellectually disingenuous. Satire does not become a criminal offence because someone chooses to be professionally offended.
You did not say anything about anyone's mother. You did not dehumanise. You did not even name. That they have to invent a crime to be a victim tells you everything.
More power to your pen or should I say, your meme.
She ran to the Supreme Court of INC yesterday and filed a complaint that I “misused images” of two people from her party. The Supreme Court of INC immediately took suo moto cognisance and acknowledged the case.
I checked the comments under her post. Out of 317, nearly 300 people called her out and said I did nothing wrong.
I never took any name. I posted no derogatory image or video. No vulgarity, no explicit content, no dehumanisation. It was pure satire nothing more.
So what exactly is the crime here?
Did I say anything about anyone’s mother?
Did I post anything vulgar or explicit?
Did I dehumanise anyone?
Did I even name anyone?
People who got the joke stood with me. The rest are busy treating memes as criminal offences.
