#GeMMoU Government e Marketplace (GeM) inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the International Centre for Information Systems and Audit (iCISA) on 23rd October 2026, to strengthen capacity building, training, research and knowledge sharing in the public procurement ecosystem. On behalf of the organisations,Shri Satya Narayan Meena, Additional Chief Executive Officer (ACEO), GeM, and Shri B.K. Mohanty, Director General, iCISA and CTO (CAG), signed the MoU. The keynote address was delivered by Shri K. S. Subramanian, Deputy Comptroller and Auditor General (DAI – HR, Coordination, Legal & Defence), who underscored the importance of this MoU in strengthening institutional collaboration and advancing capacity building in public procurement. This collaboration will focus on: 🔹 Capacity Building & Training: Developing structured, role-based learning pathways for government buyers and sellers. 🔹 Knowledge Creation & Research: Undertaking collaborative research, developing case studies and publishing policy briefs to enhance procurement efficiency and transparency. 🔹 Digital Learning & Certification: Developing focused learning content and exploring dual-accreditation certification programmes. 🔹 Expert Engagement: Leveraging domain expertise through workshops, mentorship and knowledge-sharing forums. 🔹 Policy Dialogue & Innovation: Organising conferences and roundtables on emerging priorities, including digital governance, sustainability, MSME participation and category management.
