Military force is an instrument of policy. If the U.S. chose to use it, it could destroy Cuba’s air force in minutes—and force the regime from power. Lt. Col. Octavio Pérez explains how in the next episode of The Havana Files.
Florida has more than 87 defense contractors. Cuba's listening posts, once run with Russia, are now in
Chinese hands, says Lt. Col. Octavio Perez, U.S. Army (Ret.).

A convicted former operative of the Cuban version of the KGB is running a state agency coordinating directly with DSA-linked American political organizations. Yeah, nothing to see here, right?
The DSA is a member of the National Network on Cuba. Every year, that group works hand-in-hand with a Cuban state entity called ICAP (the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples), which is sanctioned by the U.S. Treasury Department.
The president of ICAP is a convicted member of Cuba’s Wasp Network, identified in U.S. court records as operatives of the Directorate of Intelligence of Cuba, their main foreign intelligence service (basically, the Cuban KGB).
This is the global communist network the DSA is connected to.

Helen Aguirre Ferre: the Cuban regime is "very good at being charming and disarming," but is "infiltrating schools so that your children don't learn the true history of what's going on in Cuba." The Havana Files, Ep. 11, with host @GeletMartinez . @helenaguirrefer
So basically, if he runs in 2028, we’ll be choosing between a party that’s pushing for socialism and another one that can’t even define it. God save America.

Thousands of Cubans went to Russia to fight in #Ukraine.
Cuban officials claim they didn’t know. But is it really possible that thousands could be recruited and sent to war without the regime’s knowledge?

Before 9/11, the CIA had a unit dedicated to one man: Osama bin Laden.
@RicPrado2 was selected as deputy chief of the task force that became known as Alec Station.
By 1997, he says, the intelligence picture was clear: bin Laden was building a global terrorist network capable of striking American targets.
But repeated warnings did not lead to a preemptive strike.
His assessment today is stark:
“If we would have been allowed to neutralize bin Laden in 1997 or 1998, it’d be like shooting Hitler in 1938.”
Could the USS Cole bombing, the U.S. Embassy bombings in Africa, and 9/11 have been prevented?
Inside the CIA’s early hunt for Osama bin Laden — and the opportunity this former officer believes America missed.
