A fan of anime, Isekai, and Fantasy in general?
Tired of how Isekai has become generic harem and power fantasy slop?
Then go read my webnovel, Fragmented World, an Isekai with a dual protagonist narrative!
Follow Galen Daxton, an Earth-born teenager who gets summoned against his will to become the new Champion of the Dominion, the human empire of the world he finds himself in, and Aria Tufani, a teenaged elf girl who has been a slave to that very same empire from the day she was born.
All Galen wants is to return to Earth and to his family.
Aria wants both freedom and vengeance upon the empire that has enslaved her people for centuries.
The Dominion stands against them both in very different ways.
The series is my personal love letter to not just the Isekai genre, but to all fantasy and anime that I have watched/read over the years. Go give the series a read on either Royal Road or Archive of Our Own! Links in the reply below!

One of the best things about indie games is that nobody asked for them. No meeting of people in suits decided your game should exist. You just wanted to make something cool that you love. Never forget that's your biggest strength
You're indie. Be weird, be raw, be authentic! ❤️

What is money but a piece of paper in an unjust system? What is art if not a path to the expression and evolution of the soul? At the end of the day, usefulness lies in what makes you feel alive, not in how much money you generate; you don't take that with you when you die.

There's a certain kind of people who don't get mad at how much a famous football player earns, the price of designer clothes or an expensive new iPhone. But when its art, they see it as egocentric and shameful to charge what would earn the artist a decent living.
One of the things that baffles me the most about AI bros is that some genuinely can’t wrap their minds around the fact that the act of creating with your own hands and mind is genuinely fun and fulfilling.
When a car goes 25 mph nobody cares. That’s what it was designed to do.
When a human being runs 25 mph, it’s an accomplishment because a HUMAN BEING achieved it.
Nobody gives a shit if a machine spits out the code, art, and animations and creates a game. The reason games are successful comes from people experiencing the developer’s own vision. It’s not just about the product and the profit, it’s about seeing people’s ideas come to life through their own work.
Here’s a hard-to-swallow pill for people who support AI: Having dreams and ideas is not actually impressive, everybody has them. It’s putting in the effort yourself to make them happen that makes it impressive, and if you think people will still appreciate that when you used an AI to do the hard work for you then you clearly don’t know what it means to truly create.
