What a bizarre end to regulation in @BYUfootball matchup with @UCF_Football. Cougars block potential game-winning field, pick up unsportsmanlike conduct foul on play, but Knights don鈥檛 get another FG try as clock is allowed to expire. No telling what OT will bring.
This is why @UCF_Football coach Frost was right to go for TD from half-yard out. Had BYU pinned back and took advantage of favorable field position to get back into FG range.
Right decision by Frost to go for it from half-yard out, even if @UCFKnights didn鈥檛 get into end zone. @BYU still has to go almost 70 yards to get FG. Kicking the FG, they鈥檇 get ball at 25 or thereabouts and only need 40 yards to get in FG range. Had to take chance to go up 7.
