Peltolagate BOMBSHELL REVELATIONS in the Alaska Election Campaign Fraud scandal. Part 2. The operative coordinating the Alaska election voter fraud scheme has been identified as Thomas Datwyler, a nefarious and corrupt campaign election operative who has previously been named as a respondent in 24 complaints before the FEC. Two of the complaints ended in significant penalties. Datwyler's firm’s website claims he has directed more than 400 political committees and filed over 4,000 FEC reports since launching 9Seven Consulting in 2013. Datwyler serves as the board treasurer for the American Center for Counter Extremism. The ACCE is a non-partisan and not-for-profit policy, research, and advocacy group committed to advancing innovative public policy strategies in the fight against extremism, terrorism, and the protection of foundational democratic values including freedom of speech and freedom of religion. Datwyler’s professional record is a matter of public record. Across the past three years, his work as treasurer has triggered formal action in five states – civil penalties, criminal investigations, federal regulatory inquiries, and a U.S. Department of Justice complaint. Datwyler's Alabama Values PAC smeared five Alabama Republican incumbents. In July 2024, a Republican PAC tied to U.S. Senate candidate Jim Marchant filed a U.S. Department of Justice complaint accusing Datwyler of wire fraud. In 2024, Tennessee election authorities referred a complaint involving a Datwyler-tied PAC to the state attorney general’s office. In August 2023, Mississippi Attorney General Lynn Fitch publicly opened an investigation into Datwyler for potential criminal violations of state election law. The complaint alleged he had used a PAC structure to route approximately $885,000 in out-of-state money around Mississippi’s contribution limits In March 2024, U.S. Senator Mike Braun’s (R-Indiana) Senate campaign paid a $159,000 Federal Election Commission civil penalty to settle campaign-finance allegations. Datwyler was the campaign’s treasurer at settlement. Right for Alaska, which appears to be based in Wisconsin, is promoting “Decoy Dan” on its website after spending six figures backing candidates Republicans have accused of being spoilers. Since late July, the shadowy super PAC has spent over $2.3 million on alternative Republican Senate contenders, including just shy of $1.15 million outright opposing Senator Dan S. Sullivan, according to disclosures with the Federal Election Commission. This includes efforts to prop up Gerald Heikes to the tune of over $700,000 and Earl “Skip” Southworth by north of $500,000 as Republican candidates in Alaska’s Senate primary. Two PACs that have listed Datwyler as their treasurer have spent more than $3.75 million attacking Sen. Daniel S. Sullivan and supporting Heikes since mid-October. They follow the same playbook of a different Datwyler-affiliated PAC that spent more than $2 million in the Alaska Senate primary in August – and which later revealed it was funded in part by a liberal dark-money group. In Ohio, yet another Datwyler-linked PAC dropped more than $3.8 million to attack GOP Senator Jon Husted and support William Redpath, a longshot libertarian candidate on the ballot.
