Yesterday Genvid received the Emmy Award for SILENT HILL: Ascension. The reception of the award and thank you speech which will be available to watch next week during the Creative Arts Emmy broadcast on FXX and Hulu.

I’ve seen some articles asking about the “Teen” rating in Google Play. We consider SILENT HILL: Ascension to be a Mature series. Our account registration system will only permit 17 and older to register. But, let’s remember that SILENT HILL: Ascension is not a game that you play, it's an interactive streaming series. This rating is not like a console ESRB rating where it's reviewed by people playing a game. The rating an automated thing that comes out of a questionnaire we submit on app approval. The rating is a black box to me.
