I just updated my ACF Meta Builder npm package & my helper to go with it! I needed to move to non-random strings for the key names to avoid issues with editing content in WP while making changes to code.

Responsive type scaling via the CSS clamp function is the future and can safely be used in all modern browsers. Why aren't you using it yet?

Web accessible modals are here and are easy to create and use. Even adding a simple "click outside to close" function for additional accessibility is possible!

Multiple Line Link Underline Animation
Ever wanted an animation on an inline link element that spans multiple lines? Well... you can do that. Take a look at this @CodePen and let me know what you think!

Animate on Scroll using Intersection Observer
I've been using Intersection Observer for all my element animation lately and decided to throw together my implementation of it for others on @CodePen. I love pairing this with a SASS version of animate.css!

Practical Responsive Flex Layout for Cards
This @CodePen was a long time coming. Previously I created this same thing using CSS grid, but decided to replicate it with flex. Flex is much more powerful than this, but I love using it for simple things too!

I change my Sublime theme every couple of months because I can't stand to look at the same 6 colors for too long.

Pulled a scroll transition effect out of a project and put it in a @CodePen. I think I could maybe use a GSAP animation or something to make this more efficient, but this is a quick solution for a cool effect.

Starting the week off with a @CodePen post! This time I look at a page transition effect I recently created for a client website.

Back again hooking you up with another @CodePen tutorial. This time we look at how we can create scrolling progress bars with CSS variables set in JS and CSS linear gradients.

Back again with another @CodePen tutorial. This time we take an adventure into jQuery AJAX loading overlays! Simple task with a simple solution (as long as you are able to use jQuery, that is).

Since my @CodePen from yesterday about practical responsive grid layout for cards was so well received, I decided to continue the series with "A Practical Look at Social Icons". This time, with comments!

What do you want to see next?
Sometimes I like to create practical layouts on @CodePen. Here's one using CSS Grid for article cards.

Managed to setup a completely new base theme using Highway JS (highway.js.org/) with minimal change to my WordPress development workflow. Anyone interested in learning how to use this powerful tool?
When Cloudfare's DNS server goes down and you're too lazy to remove the connection from your computers so you can keep working so you just sit there and refresh the status page until it gets fixed.
cc: @wp_acf @awesomeacf I hope this can be useful to someone, just need people to see it! This package & helper plugin cut my development time in at least half. All fields can be defined in PHP and there's no need to define anything in the admin panel, even repeaters!
I built a @wp_acf meta builder in a gulp task, as well as a @WordPress helper plugin to go along with it. Check it out and leave feedback for future versions!

Carousels are cool and all but when's the last time you actually interacted with one?
Show the most important slide as static content or randomly show one of the slides on load.
Forcing users to find content by moving through a carousel is unnecessary.
