As I’m watching my favorite Christmas movie (The Muppet Christmas Carol) this scene really stands out as I think about @TeamPillen’s plan to kick 30,000 people off of Medicaid in an era of rising premium prices and ever increasing medical debt ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
The weather today couldn't decide if it wanted to be decent or not, but I still had some amazing conversations with folks as I was out knocking doors!
One of the consistent things we talked about today was education and the importance of our schools here in Lincoln. I know l've said this before, but it truly is amazing how much it comes up that people want to continue to support our educators and education system here in Nebraska.
Also, I think this wide-eyed pumpkin captures how a lot of us feel on a regular basis ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Views from the final weekend of October spent connecting with voters alongside friends and family, cheering on the ‘skers, and embracing the beautiful fall weather while we have it 🙌🏻

I'm heartbroken by today's news. 3 students were shot in Denver and Charlie Kirk was killed. Whether it is a college campus, a school, or anywhere- violence has no place in our communities. We need to do more. We need to do better. We need to end this cycle.
Labor Day was full of celebrating working people, showing steadfast support for our unions, and standing up for regular folks over billionaires!
Rain or shine, standing up for everyday Nebraskans is always a great time.

Friends, I am excited to announce that I will be running for reelection to the Nebraska Legislature! 🧵
But we have also seen lawmakers undermine voter-approved measures, push policies which harm working families, and fail to deliver targeted tax relief to the families which need it most. Our system is failing many it’s supposed to serve. I’m not done fighting to change that.
