Many congratulations to academy coach George Broad who was awarded 'Coach Of The Year' in the @carrington_sch Sports Awards yesterday evening! 👏 'Recognised for his passion, energy and the unwavering support he gives to every student he works with', everyone at the academy is proud of George, who's academy journey has so far seen him go from student & player in our post-16 education & football programme, to youth & academy coach, to being the lead of our Key Stage 4 Programme at Carrington. Well done again, George 👊 #Academy 🔴⚪️

When you’re the manager, you’re accountable. Highs and lows, doesn’t matter. You’re responsible. 5 years, unreal memories, even better people. @GodalmingTown, I’ll always be a supporter. You’ve been nothing but great to me. To all my players and management - love you all. 💚💛

George Broad took a squad to Chatham in another useful pre-season fixture. After going 4-1 down, the boys responded well to turn the game around and finish with a 5-4 victory. Another good test as we continue to build towards the season.

Going into a tough game as clear underdogs, but reaching our first cup final as a new club is a huge achievement, especially one as prestigious as a County Cup Final. Time to embrace the challenge ⚽🏆
