February is Black History Month. While the Black experience can't be limited to just February, this month affords SCS the chance to commemorate Black achievement. It is also a reminder to explore where systemic racism persists and recognize the people and orgs creating change.

Sharing is caring, so SCS is making it easy to care a lot. Make a kindness card for children afflicted with pediatric cancer or chronic illness, or leave a Post-It note on our Gratitude Wall. Visit our "Share the Love" table in the C2 Atrium from Feb. 15-17 at 5-8 p.m.

The Graduate Career Center will be able to support you through job searches, making career changes, and landing that next big opportunity. gradcareer.georgetown.edu/

Our message this morning remains true. We stand in solidarity with our AAPI family and mourn these continued hate crimes with you. Our work to dismantle systems of oppression must continue. If you need mental health assistance during this time, visit: bit.ly/2YtxE8j.

We do not make this decision lightly. We know many of us await the day when it is safe to return to campus. We will continue to monitor the changing nature of the pandemic, and regularly assess our operating status. Stay safe, Hoyas. 3/3
