After eight seasons, the Mike Locksley era at Maryland is over. Aazaar Abdul-Rahim will be the Terps' interim coach when Maryland takes the field again Oct. 31 against Illinois.

Maryland's Week 10 game at Purdue Sat., Nov. 7, will kick off at 12:30 and air on Big Ten Network, the league announced.
Maryland AD Jim Smith will introduce interim football coach Aazaar Abdul-Rahim ahead of his first press conference as coach Tuesday at noon. Terps practice later that afternoon ahead of Saturday's game vs Illinois will also be open to media for the first time since training camp.
The Mike Locksley era at Maryland will be remembered for his leadership after the death of Jordan McNair and three straight bowl victories.
It will also be noted for the Terps’ inability to win when it mattered most, which became too glaring to ignore.
