It is almost candle-lighting time, so may I wish you all a blessed and peaceful #ShabbatShalom.
How long until this is O'Connell Street, or any other part of Ireland? This is what the Paddystinians are enabling. I hope they wake up before it's too late.
This woman is a prime example of a liberal woman with Suicidal Empathy Syndrome, being confronted with the reality she has defended for years and she is a liberal activist clearly.
She is shouting, “C’est pas la cause,” meaning, “This is not what we have been fighting for.”
This woman is literally trying to reason with a terrorist who probably wouldn’t think twice about ending her life.
They laughed at and mocked her, and stole all her stock and livelihood.
The liberal media is portraying this as students protest and not riots. But, from the obvious evidence of the waving Palestinian flags, this is the left wing and the cultures they have welcomed into France from all over the world for years.
Protests can involve civil disobedience, but not on this scale.
Macron is a weak leader who won’t take the action that’s necessary. Send in the military and arrest them all. If they are French-born citizens, lock them up for a few years. If they are immigrants and non-French-born, deport them in the morning, back to whatever part of the world they came from.
This won’t happen because NGOs, do-gooders, liberal nutcases and people like this woman who being looted and robbed. Her begging will do no good because they are feral and don’t possess the moral integrity to feel sorry for her.
This is not just a protest, it’s a cultural difference in morals and law and order.
It’s too late for Europe and the damage has been done and France is only the start.
I've been pondering the escalation of Jew-hatred in once-Catholic countries. I suspect the fact that Catholics, unlike other Christian groups, never read the bible means they don't understand the foundation of Jewish belief. That's my theory, anyway.
Don't you love it when people post offensive comments, then block you so you can't react? These people have as much integrity as they do intelligence. None.

There are Mass rocks in Irish fields that we still regard as holy. Under the Penal Laws of the 18th century, Catholics gathered at them in secret. Lookouts were posted on high ground, and the time and place were passed around quietly by word of mouth. Priests still say Mass at some of those rocks today, so we can remember the risks people once took just to gather together as a community of faith.
Today, the Chief Rabbi of Ireland, Yoni Wieder, explained that Dublin's main synagogue held no public memorial on the third anniversary of October 7th because the risk was too high that someone might try to physically attack the participants. He points to recent fatal attacks on synagogues and other Jewish events in the UK, the US, and Australia. A commemoration will go ahead at an unspecified time and place, but those who register won't learn the details until 24 hours beforehand.
The small Jewish community is also concerned that vigils and commemorations will attract pro-Palestinian protesters. "I don’t think that a grieving daughter who has come to mourn her father, who was murdered by terrorists, should have to walk past somebody shouting at her that she’s a ‘baby killer’," the Chief Rabbi said. What he asks for is modest and reasonable: "a basic human boundary around people who are simply coming to mourn their dead."
No law forbids religious worship in Ireland anymore. There are no priest-hunters and no bounties. Article 44 of the Irish constitution states: "Freedom of conscience and the free profession and practice of religion are, subject to public order and morality, guaranteed to every citizen." And yet, in a country with fewer than 2,200 Jews, many now gather at undisclosed locations out of fear. That climate did not arise by itself. It has been fostered by the Irish state, whose leaders have made denouncing Israel a test of national virtue and have rarely taken responsibility for where that rhetoric leads.
We built much of our national memory around people who were forced to gather in secret. We of all nations should recognise it when it happens again.

Happy Simchat Torah! ✡️
Simchat Torah, meaning “Joy of the Torah,” is a Jewish holiday celebrating the completion of the annual Torah reading cycle and the beginning of a new one.
It is a day filled with singing, dancing, and celebration as Jewish communities around the world rejoice with the Torah.

On this day—October 2, 1947
David Ben-Gurion stood in Jerusalem and asked the Arabs to take a state of their own and meet the Jews as sovereign equals.
Not after the war. Seven months before it. The UN had not yet voted. No Arab army had crossed a border. The British were still the government.
Ben-Gurion admitted the Arabs had refused to even sit at the same table as the Jews. But he made the offer anyway:
“We will do everything in our power to maintain peace, and establish a cooperation gainful to both. It is now, here and now, from Jerusalem itself, that a call must go out to the Arab nations to join forces with Jewry and the destined Jewish State and work shoulder to shoulder for our common good, for the peace and progress of sovereign equals.”
Six weeks later, the UN recommended two states. The Arab Higher Committee said no. In May 1948, five Arab armies invaded to kill in the crib the state whose chairman had just asked them to be partners.
The people who left during that war are now described as the victims of a plan drawn up in the Jewish Agency. The plan on the table that October was the opposite: have your own country, and those who stay in ours will become citizens and together we will build our countries as equals.
The Arabs heard him, and then chose war.
Almost time to light the candles for the Sabbath and for Sukkot. #ShabbatShalom and #ChagSameach, everyone.

Children in Gaza calls to kill Jews with Hamas terrorists.
The mainstream media will never dare to show this.
It will soon be time to commemorate Yom Kippur. I won't be around until tomorrow night. May haShem bless all of us with an easy fast, and may we be inscribed in the book of life for the year ahead.

I attended a medical conference this week. Next to me in the coffee line was a woman wearing a hijab. She introduced herself as an international surgical fellow at a major medical school (a big deal).
I asked which country she’s from. She proudly said “Israel!”
She’s lived in Israel her entire life, as a practicing devout Muslim woman. Was educated there. Became a physician, then a surgeon, and made it to the US for a prestigious 2 year fellowship. And she’s absolutely proud to be Israeli.
She told me how surprised she is when some people react negatively to her being from Israel because she and her family are treated with respect and given every opportunity.
Sounds like Israel isn’t so great at the apartheid and genocide thing. 🇮🇱
Almost time to light the candles. Wishing you all a blessed, safe, & peaceful #ShabbatShalom.
