Not all cryptography is equally exposed to quantum πŸ” For most companies, key exchange is the urgent one. For crypto, where a signature moves money, the picture changes. A @Comcast security researcher on where the danger starts πŸ‘‡

Things you share publicly without a second thought: πŸ“¦ Your address, on every parcel πŸ“§ Your email, on every sign-up πŸ“± Your number, on every booking πŸ”‘ Your public key, every time you send crypto The first three can be misused. The fourth was designed to be public. With today's computers, knowing someone's public key doesn't give you a practical way to calculate their private key. But that security depends on a mathematical problem that quantum computers could eventually solve. A sufficiently powerful quantum computer running Shor's algorithm could derive a private key from an exposed elliptic curve public key. And because blockchain records are permanent, those public keys are already out there. This is why NaoX chose post-quantum cryptography from genesis. On the NaoX chain, ML-DSA-87 signatures are verified natively by the protocol, using the highest security level defined under NIST's FIPS 204 standard. Your public key is supposed to be public. The cryptography protecting it needs to account for the computers that come next. Happy saturday! β˜•οΈ

We’re proud to announce our strategic partnership milestone with @plumenetwork 🀝 Together, FinChain & Plume officially launch FLEX & FINO β€” the next-gen leveraged yield strategy built exclusively for institutional-grade RWA assets, targeting up to 7.2% APY. Powered by our fully collateralized treasury-backed #FUSD, this joint solution unlocks looping yield enhancement: retaining native treasury yields while capturing additional DeFi returns through secured leverage. This partnership marks a critical evolution for RWA β€” moving beyond basic tokenization into structured, reusable, institutional on-chain financial strategies. FinChain continues expanding compliant RWA infrastructure, bringing real-world capital yield and traditional asset logic fully on-chain, together with top-tier ecosystem partners. #FinChain #Plume #RWA #DeFi #RealWorldAssets prnewswire.com/apac/news-rel…

The most only path forward is coming together as an industry to help shape the future of open finance. Grateful to build alongside great companies, friends, and partners !
Yesterday we teamed up with some of the other digital and traditional transfer agents in the industry (@figure @centrifuge @equiniti (soon to be part of @Bullish) and @plumenetwork sending a joint comment letter to the SEC on their transfer agent rules modernization proposal. We are overall supporting of their initiative and the acknowledging of blockchain record-keeping for tokenized securities but would like to expand it to include wallet addresses, emails or other unique electronic identifiers in particularly for direct holdings of tokenized securities. Some other comments in there as well, full letter in the link below: sec.gov/comments/S7-2026-30/…

NaoX mainnet isn't an experiment any more. It's an operating blockchain ⛓️ 322,696+ blocks produced at a 12.96 second cadence with a 60 million gas block limit. Underneath them sits a different cryptographic architecture. Transactions signed with ML-DSA-87, post-quantum signatures verified natively in around 38.5 ΞΌs, validator admission built around 2,592-byte public keys, and standard transactions holding at 21,000 gas. One boundary worth stating plainly: aggregated finality still runs on classical BLS, as it does across the proof-of-stake industry. The work has moved past proving post-quantum cryptography can run on a blockchain. Now it's about what gets built on top of it. Onwards.

Is Quantum about to have its AI moment? πŸ€– Big Tech is racing for it, and whoever gets there first reshapes medicine and the encryption securing crypto. But what's the missing piece? @QuantinuumQC's former Head of Quantum Algorithms, now at @Cambridge_Uni, explains πŸ‘‡

2,592 bytes 4,627 bytes 38.5 ΞΌs 21,000 gas Post Quantum. Four numbers that explain most of how NaoX is built. 2,592 bytes is an ML-DSA-87 public key. 4,627 is roughly the signature protecting a transaction. 38.5 microseconds is how long native verification takes. And 21,000 gas is the charge for a standard transaction, not the gas price. Post-quantum cryptography isn't free. Those signatures are dramatically larger than classical ones, and that cost has to land somewhere. The question worth asking of any chain is where it lands. On NaoX it lands in bytes, rather than in verification speed or a developer experience nobody recognises. That one architectural choice shapes everything else.

Rip out elliptic curves for a post-quantum scheme, or run both side by side? πŸ€” The security world is split straight down the middle. One verdict on betting everything on a single new algorithm: "madness." Which camp are you in?

Single. Points. Of. Failure. The $6.3B @binance hack is the biggest proof yet that centralized security models are broken. One compromised DevOps laptop. One service container. Billions in unauthorized withdrawals. No private keys leaked. No cryptography broken. The attackers didn’t need to break the math. They only needed one machine the system already trusted. And Binance isn’t alone. Bitget, KelpDAO and Drift lost close to $1B between them this year, all through the infrastructure around the keys. Different targets, same flaw: one point of trust, and nothing independent to check it. Now imagine what happens when quantum computers no longer need to steal the keys, because they can derive them. Our security systems need an upgrade, just like blockchains need to become post-quantum. Nothing changes if nothing changes. If only someone was tackling this πŸ˜‰ We sincerely hope no one has been affected by this event. Brighter days are coming. Technology is evolving, and so must its security.
Binance has begun recovering affected assets for users and continues to work with law enforcement, issuers, blockchain intelligence firms and industry partners to trace, freeze and recover additional funds. The company has already publicly committed to cover losses through company funds in the prior announcement. Binance has already reserved over $6.34B of company funds to cover this incident. $5B of these funds are already held in the exact token assets that were impacted. We are completing the purchase of the remaining amount by buying token assets through market channels and OTC channels. We are doing this to match the format of the remaining token assets and address any asset shortfalls. This step can take longer because some tokens may have low liquidity and OTC settlement also takes time. We will share more progress as soon as we can. These figures do not include frozen or protected assets, which remain subject to ongoing recovery and verification. Currently, $3bn has been frozen, with thanks to our industry partners. We are working with partners and law enforcement to recover the frozen assets. We will continue to use company resources to cover confirmed shortfall and will provide further verified updates as recovery efforts progress. Ultimately, all user funds will be verified publicly through our Proof of Reserves. We will weather this storm. Thank you for the support.

Stablecoins were the first onchain RWA. USDC, the native stablecoin of @arc, is backed 1:1 by US dollars. Digital dollars backed by reserves deserve yield from assets that are just as real. Put your USDC to work on Nest and start earning: app.nest.credit/vaults?utm_s…

Switching on post-quantum crypto in one place and calling it done is how companies get caught out πŸ”— @IBM's playbook: find where the risk lives, get decision-grade visibility, protect what can't wait, then prove the whole trust chain got stronger. "You can't just wing it."

All funds are safe. In regards to the Binance hot wallet hack, all Plume Vaults are safe and unaffected. As always, your vault receipt tokens are non-custodial and do not sit in Binance or any other centralized exchange. This includes nOPAL, nFXCF, FACTOR, or any other Plume Vault. Whether you are invested through Plume or any other integrated frontend, your funds are safe.

The hardest part of post-quantum migration isn't mathematics. It's coordination πŸ”„ Wallets, custodians, exchanges, bridges and applications are never going to migrate on the same Tuesday morning. A custodian needs months of testing. An exchange has another integration cycle. A bridge depends on a chain whose own migration is years away. So why design as though they'll all move at once? NaoX can support a hybrid transaction carrying two signatures over the same payload, one classical and one post-quantum. Both have to verify, so the weaker one is never sufficient on its own. That creates a path rather than a cliff: classical β†’ hybrid β†’ post-quantum. And it runs one way. Migration should have a ratchet, not a revolving door.
