there's something so sinister about how the entertainment industry keeps putting out all this "forgive your abuser" and "evil people are just damaged" propaganda. she kidnapped her because her hair kept her young. that's it.
Disney’s live-action ‘TANGLED’ will reportedly change Mother Gothel’s final scene, adding a new line of dialogue absent from the original film.
Gothel will say “I loved you” to Rapunzel as she begins to age.

Curry Barker says there’s an extended cut of ‘OBSESSION’ that is 20 minutes longer that he would like to release.
“The [existing] movie is the director's cut… I would say extended cut [for this one] for sure.”

“Furthermore, the team member's subsequent comments and conduct do not align with Dead by Daylight’s core values.”
Ok so is said team member fired? Or am I just going to have pretend like she didn’t support a homophobic and racist streamer every time I see her during streams? 😐
This weekend, a Dead by Daylight team member awarded in-game content and currency to a creator streaming our game. Although it is not unusual to unlock content to give creators discovering DbD a chance to have a sneak peek at available content, this decision was made without receiving appropriate approvals. Furthermore, the team member's subsequent comments and conduct do not align with Dead by Daylight’s core values.
When concerns about this decision became apparent during the stream, we should have responded by looking into these concerns, not dismissing them.
Unfortunately, we’ve now seen the fallout of this decision unfolding in many conversations across the DbD community. We appreciate and stand with our community’s willingness to ensure our shared values are being upheld, at all times, regardless of popularity, and we’re heartbroken at the inflammatory language now being directed towards our community.
At the same time, threatening employees will never be acceptable, and we’re asking everyone to stop engaging with these posts.
We apologize to our community for letting you down. We have already begun reviewing our internal processes to prevent an incident like this from happening again.

I guess I'm working on a new script now.
How disappointing.

10 Years of Freddy
For ten years of love, no words I could write could capture the depths of what you mean to me.
You've kindled my hope, affirmed I was right to follow the path of a VO devotee.
Thank you, my loved ones, both blood and found, for showing me different is what makes us stronger.
I’ll give what I can to turn troubles around; to help this golden flame of ours burn ever longer.
Thank you to the father of the bear and the fox for taking a chance on a kid with a dream.
Hard to believe what was made in a box could change countless lives… mine too, it would seem!
The wheel of fate, round and round it will go - its forces of change I will not counteract.
And where it will stop, no mortal can know, but if it allows, I’ll always come back.
What rock’s next in life’s perennial climb? What song might I sing, what chord might I strum?
All I’ve got is thank you, I’ve had a fun time, and there's more Fantasy and Fun where that came from.

Hopefully he realizes that most fans evidently liked it, new and old. It did incredibly well financially and as an adaptation, and it did what good video games adaptations do. They make people want to play the games again.
Zach Cregger says he was frustrated that the conversation surrounding his ‘RESIDENT EVIL’ film had nothing to do with the film.
“It had to do with whether the movie was living up to the different standards that different fans of the games had… it was just a lot about ‘why isn’t this like the source material?’ OR ‘why is it good that it’s not like the source material?’

While I don't think "threatening employees" / "witch hunting" is rarely ever called for.... She literally ADMITTED it was her and was PROUD to support it. Then when that proud support is met with "Yes! This company grew a spine and is saying fuck you to the woke liberals", that probably will warrant unrest.
Like I said, this isn't just about a hot balance take or a bug... it was endorsing a known problematic streamer with a volatile fanbase. The same fanbase that has been through numerous other communities spewing hate and bigotry in defense of their holy streamer, who evidently doesn't tell them not to or speak down on their actions. This is the community he fosters.
Calling @Mandyta1k and @DeadbyDaylight / @DbDPulse out directly was a good thing. Especially since she OPENLY welcomed the heat and attached her name to it. This isn't witch hunting or bullying, it was her own decision and consequences to face. I guess the skillet got too hot, so now she's probably trying to disassociate herself from it and have the official account claim the DBD community as just bullying a developer.
CAN YOU NOT TAKE THE HEAT 🔥 ?

I cannot word how disappointing and disgusted I am.
I know full well this is just 1 BHVR employee, ive met some amazing people in the space and they would never let this happen.
@DeadbyDaylight you need to make a response and I'm hoping you don't double down here.
