A great week for our cadets on Royal Marines Summer camp based out of Britannia Royal Naval College. New skills, experiences and friends. Was a tad hot at times
In a change of pace dictated by the heat wave the cadets have been in the pool this morning followed by low ropes.
Our Year 11 cadets are nearing the end of their Cadet Force Instructional Techniques course. In the assessment phase they have to deliver a 15 min Theory & Skill lesson. With positive feedback from staff and peers, they will be able to continue to improve as they teach more.
Fabulous week @CTCFrimleyPark teaching the next @CadetsinSchools and @ArmyCadetsUK leaders. Always good to refresh on @CFHealthyMinds and @AC_INCLUSION.
Our Senior cadets Lizzie and Logan haven't been resting on their laurels (or their Globes). They took part in week 3 of the RM cadet Summer camp and had a hoofing time. A packed and challenging week saw Lizzie emerge with the prize for the cadet showing Best Commando Mindset.
Congratulations to our three senior cadets who have achieved their one star badge and have proved to be excellent leaders this camp @GiggCCF @CadetsinSchools
Congratulations to our newly promoted LCpls and in particular to Megan and Frank who were voted best cadets on camp. Also to Lily R who was awarded most improved cadet @GiggCCF @CadetsinSchools
Today the lads visited Britannia Royal Naval College to get out on boat's, have a go on the low ropes course before moving into the final exercise
Activities continue at pace on Royal Marine cadet Summer camp. Still have boats to come before recces and orders for the final attack on a Victorian fort on Friday morning
