Brunson literally kicks the foot of Edgecombe and throws himself to the floor. I can forgive a ref making the wrong call with the speed of the game but to review this and still uphold the foul is diabolical. You guys are bringing the game to disrepute @OfficialNBARefs

There’s literally not a single world that exists where this is a foul on VJ Edgecombe… How in the hell can you review this & still decide it was a foul? What are we doing? What’s going on? Embarrassing @OfficialNBARefs

Before I visited Pennsylvania, everyone warned me that Philadelphia people are the toughest, most impatient people in America. I believed them until I walked toward the front door of a Wawa gas station. I was still forty feet away in the parking lot, walking between rows of cars. A massive construction worker in steel-toe boots, carrying a twenty-four-ounce coffee in one hand and a paper-wrapped hoagie in the other, pushed open the glass door to leave. Then he saw me. He stopped. He planted his boot against the bottom of the door. And he waited. Forty feet is a very long distance when a grown man is holding a door for you in the wind. In Japan, to make a stranger wait carries great shame. So I broke into that awkward half-jog every man performs when he wishes to show gratitude without looking like he is fleeing a crime. "Go ahead, boss," he said as I passed. Ten minutes later, as I walked out with my own sandwich, I saw an elderly woman locking her car thirty feet away. I planted my foot against the glass. I held the door. Another man behind me held the inner door. Within seconds we had formed an impromptu honor guard of grumpy men holding glass doors in complete silence. Philadelphia may boo Santa Claus. But inside the three-foot radius of a Wawa doorway, they have the manners of the imperial court.

This is easily THE most DEVASTATING clapback I have ever heard, by any candidate, from either party. trump said he wants metal detectors for El-Sayed. El-Sayed says sure, but lie detectors for YOU. First question: EPSTEIN. He is SO good at this.🔥

MANAGER TEXTED ME ABOUT SITTING DOWN ON SHIFT. I TEXTED BACK MY RESIGNATION. Manager: Good evening. Reviewed the cameras from today's shift and noticed you were seated for most of it. This isn't acceptable and we'll need to discuss it before your shift tomorrow. Me: I had that cleared with my lead already. I've got two documented fractures in my left foot, doctor's note on file. Also, for context, I hit 230+ units per hour for the full 12-hour shift. There's a ranked performance board above our stations. I finished first today. So just to clarify, my output being the best on the floor got overshadowed because I wasn't standing while doing it? Manager: I'm not a fan of this attitude. You could've just led with the part about it being cleared instead of being combative. This kind of response isn't going to serve you well here. Me: Appreciate you using my time off to bring up something you didn't bother checking on first. 230+ units an hour, by your own metric that's supposedly the gold standard, and I'm getting a talking-to because I was sitting while doing it. Might want to rethink what actually matters here. Also explains a lot about your turnover problem. I'm not worried about "going anywhere" with this company. It's a toxic environment run by people with backwards priorities. I won't be in tomorrow. Or after that. Manager: Let's not jump straight to you quitting. We can sort this out in the morning. Me: Pass. Take care. Quit on the spot last night. Got to make my kids breakfast and actually drive them to school this morning for the first time in months. Onto the next thing, wish me luck.

Richie Aprile makes one dangerous mistake: he thinks being feared is the same as being respected. Tony Soprano understands that power is more than having a reputation for violence. It’s about knowing when to compromise, when to reward loyalty, and when to make people believe they have a choice. Richie comes back from prison expecting the old rules to apply, but the organization has changed, and Tony isn’t willing to let Richie dictate how things should work. Their conflict is fascinating because neither man sees himself as the problem. Richie thinks Tony is weak. Tony sees Richie as someone who cannot follow the chain of command. Every disagreement becomes a battle over who gets to define respect. Richie has the toughness to intimidate people, but he lacks the patience to build lasting influence. That’s the difference between a man who wants power and a man who knows how to keep it. Source:

Alex Pretti's father: Our son was shot and killed by the government, federal immigration agents, on January 24th, 2026. We learned about his death from the media as we saw him being shot repeatedly in the back after helping a woman from his community. This was not a protest that Alex was at. His hands were in the air, and his face was on the ground when he was executed by ICE agents. We know exactly what our eyes saw. No one from the federal government called us on that day. But they did go on TV to tell lies about Alex. No one has called us since. No one has recanted those lies.
