Any player’s hope is to be in an environment where they are fully supported not only as a player, but most importantly as a person. For DLH to take this very real situation for the black community, and try to turn it around and make it about himself is completely unacceptable. 1/

Alphonso Davies was born in a refugee camp in Ghana.
He moved to Canada aged 5 with his family after fleeing the second Liberian Civil War.
Signed for Bayern for £13m in 2018 from Vancouver Whitecaps.
Wins the Champions League aged 19!
An inspiration!
Proud of you my boy ♥️.. you deserve it all @AlphonsoDavies
Rest easy my man ♥️... here’s to one last fist bump 🤜🏽🤛🏽..
This is why some “Stats” people get frustrated with @darlingtonnagbe and don’t just sit and appreciate his pure brilliance without goals. This goal is amazing yes... but so is his play in general CONSITENTLY. I’d take his general play over 5 of those goals a season.. don’t @ me
If this is true ..... 😂😂 coaches/scouts might wana start dropping the stigma of how good certain players are determines what country they are from.... just saying #TalentIsEverywhere
Barça legend Hristo Stoichkov spoke to Bartomeu about Alphonso Davies months before Bayern came on board. Bartomeu's response was "he is Canadian, no thanks." [@LuisOmarTapia]
It’s beyond @AlphonsoDavies phenomenal pace and power.. the calmness he shows entering the box to pick the correct pass, delivery’s into the box, when to cross when to hold possession, ability to defend ... FOOTBALL IQ of this young boy doesent get enough credit at times.
