Finally saw the @Netflix film “Don’t Look Up,” a fictional tale of a Nation distracted by pop-culture and divided on whether to heed dire warnings of scientists.
Everything I know about news-cycles, talk shows, social media, & politics tells me the film was instead a documentary

In Harlem, there’s often bodegas across from bodegas.
I remember first seeing that and being stunned. But, you end up learning that each bodega is unique, each can thrive and the neighborhood needs all of them.

In August I contracted COVID while pregnant. I thought the baby and I wouldn't survive, or that I would have to push back my graduation. However, yesterday proved me wrong. I was discharged from the hospital with a healthy baby girl at 12pm and attended graduation at 6pm #PhDMom

Can someone please explain to me why lawyers and judges are arguing the interpretation of viability and the risks of pregnancy and not doctors?

To that little kid from the housing projects of Chicago, who almost got held back a grade because of dyslexia, was told he’d never make it past 5th grade, was told he’d never be anything more than a slack; “the future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams”!

Contraception is health care.
Infertility treatment is health care.
Abortion is health care.
Birth work is health care.
People will continue to need health care, no matter what #SCOTUS decides in today’s case.

Hopefully a step forward in our quest to provide definitive data on IV versus Oral Iron for treatment of iron deficiency anemia in pregnancy in the US, arguably the most common, under treated medical condition in pregnancy.
