If I were genuinely trying to warn someone before they met you, I’d say:
“Just so you know, Dylan is a lot.”
He’s intelligent, opinionated, politically seasoned, and very difficult to bullshit.
If you're dating him, don't expect casual indifference. If you're his friend, don't expect him to forget something important to you. If you're arguing with him, bring evidence.
And if you're trying to manipulate him?
He also has a tendency to overthink the hell out of things. A minor decision can become a full investigation involving cost, quality, alternatives, long-term consequences, and whether he’s being screwed over. He likes to know why something is the way it is.
