First cross country glider flight in years! Unfortunately, it was a bit tricky in the blue and I landed out half way round. Nevertheless, all good experience, and good fun too!

I spent an interesting 3 days on Grimsey last Autumn (no way on or off the island in that time as it was out of tourist season), beautiful island with lovely people

At present, all five Nordic countries straddle the Arctic circle (Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark (via Greenland), and Iceland). However, Iceland is just clinging on, and in the near-future it will lose its place in that list altogether. 1/4
