Hey, so, just wanted to post a quick heads up. Idk if it’s a YouTube thing with random people coming into streams, because I’ve never dealt with this on Twitch. But if you come into my stream making negative comments/arguing with me about my accent, it’s an automatic block. I don’t mind questions asking why I sound the way I do because I understand not everyone lives in the US. But I’m not going to tolerate “I know you’re faking it!” “I live in the south and nobody sounds like that!” Oh-! And my favorite one! “You sound like you eat road kill-“! Yeah- automatic blocks. Not everyone in the south has a southern accent, I live in a very small town where lots of us sound like this. And me living in a small town while having an accent does not automatically mean I’m an uneducated redneck. I’ve gone to various states and have been asked if I always sound and talk like this. Yes. I do. I usually try to brush it off and just keep on digging, but damn, I’m tired. I tried going into vtubing altering my voice to sound less southern, but it was hurting my throat after a few hours, thus I dropped trying to sound “proper”. So I do live in the south, not all southerners have an accent, just because you hear an accent doesn’t mean it’s cool to stereotype. Love y’all 🧡

Having some art made for my Zelda marathon. Had to discuss with the council (pasture) about which sketch was best (what made my yitties pop…) and the decision has been made ✨
