After reading The Book I looked at lineup construction using 2025 data. The Book's findings still hold. #1, #2, and #4 should be your best hitters with #4 your power threat and #1 your best OBP. #5 and #3 are very close and you next best hitters. 6-9 should be your worst in order

When adjusting for each team's unique run-scoring ability, the Cubs drop from 1st to 7th, within the normal distribution of all teams (3.35 runs swing per game on average). Brewers were 16th (3.16 runs swing per game). Both the Cubs and Brewers were fairly close.
