Maj Gen @AsaphMweteise , Commander SFC, presides over the pass-out ceremony of Commandos Intake 05/25-26 and officially launches Intake 06 at the Special Warfare Centre and School, Camp Rufu, Kiruhura District. This is assurance enough to Ugandans that our territorial security is guaranteed. The continous retraining, recruitment and acquisition of modern warfare equipment keeps our forces in combat ready positions to face any form of enemy attack and subdue him without much struggle. CDF, Gen @mkainerugaba , we continue to applaud you for these huge mislestones in professionalising the UPDF. Keep going until UPDF becomes the best army on the African soil.

He is a man of God . Let us honour and respect him. He has a constitutional right to freedom of association and affiliation, just like any other Ugandan. Let us extend respect to all Christian leaders, including Apostle Grace Lubega, Pastor Kayanja, Brother Ronnie, Prophet Elvis Mbonye, Pastor Bugingo, Pastor Judith Ssozi and Mzee Sserwada. We appreciate all men and women serving Christ through various faith ministries. Their contributions towards promoting unity, peace, moral values and economic development in our country deserve recognition. We may have different affiliations, beliefs and approaches to serving God, but we must never allow our differences to divide us. To all Christian leaders across Uganda, thank you for your prayers, spiritual guidance and continued commitment to our nation. May God continue to bless you abundantly. Let us promote love, tolerance, respect and unity. God bless Uganda .

On 06th November 2026, I attended and wittnessed the passing out of 214 Commandos at CAMP RUFU Speacial Welfare Training School-Ruhengyere Kikaatsi Kiruhura District. Major Gen. Asaph Mweteise Nyakikuru commander of Speacial Forces Command (SFC),on behalf of the Chief of Defence Forces and Senior Presidential Advisor on Speacial Operations (CDF/S.P.A/S.O),Gen @mkainerugaba presided over the pass out event. Through Maj.Gen Mweteise Nyakikuru who represented the Chief of Defence Forces, on behalf of farmers across the cattle corridor and particularly KiruhuraDistrict, I conveyed our sincere appreciation to Gen. @mkainerugaba for his good relationship with other countries like Egypt and Iran through which he has helped us to fight and mitigate the prevalence of Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) which has for so long been the biggest enemy in the entire cattle corridor. FMD has for so long negatively affected our household incomes, and impoverished our people, but because of his intervention and his diplomacy, our livestock is now healthy, our milk is selling, and the farmers are smiling again. The people of Kiruhura will never forget this. I also thanked the leadership of the @MODVA_UPDF and SFC for the strong stand in fighting corruption, and as Kiruhura District Leadership, we fully support this cause given the fact Corruption is a disease that kills service delivery and destroys our nation. As District leadership, we pledge to stand with UPDF's stand-zero tolerance to corruption. We shall not protect any corrupt officer. We strongly believe that Govt resources are meant to serve the people not a few individuals. To commandos who successfully completed their course,I congratulated them and urged them to serve with Discipline, Patriotism, Protect the wananchi and not intimidate them, and serve with utmost integrity. I commended the UPDF for their relentless efforts in preserving peace and security within Uganda outside. I also thanked President @KagutaMuseveni,Gen @mkainerugaba and @MODVA_UPDF for choosing and turning Ruhengyere a Modern Welfare Trainning School. In conclusion, from what I witnessed from the graduand commandos, I can assure you that Uganda is in very safe hands.

The Commander, Special Force Command (SFC), Major General Asaph Mweteise Nyakikuru, on behalf of the Chief of Defence Forces and Senior Presidential Advisor for Special Operations (CDF & SPA/SO), Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba, has today commissioned various infrastructure projects at the Special Warfare Centre and School – Camp Rufu in Ruhengyere, Kiruhura District. The commissioned projects include Camp Rufu Barracks, Quarter Guard, Ruhengyere Army Primary School, Senior Non-Commissioned Officers’ quarters, Commander’s House, Officers’ Mess, Dormitories (Rwigyema and Kainerugaba) and Museveni Auditorium Hall. These facilities cost the Ministry of Defence and Veteran Affairs (MODVA/UPDF) a total of UGX 3,361,593,220. Speaking on behalf of the Chief of Defence Forces (CDF), Maj Gen Asaph Mweteise Nyakikuru commended Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba for his unwavering commitment towards the improvement of soldiers’ welfare and the development of troops. He said a well-catered-for soldier is expected to maintain operational readiness since his morale to work is high. He mentioned that the Non-Commissioned Officers’ (NCOs) welfare scope is a critical pillar of military professionalism, discipline and mentorship. “They are expected to remain the link between commanders and troops, maintain standards and ensure that the commander’s intent is effectively translated into action,” elaborated the SFC Commander. To the Special Forces Group, the SFC Commander said: “I want to remind you that infrastructure alone does not create an effective fighting force. Our greatest asset remains the personnel, the humans, that is the soldiers, because one general said, humans are more important than hardware. So our main asset here are personnel.” He urged them to continue investing in realistic training, physical fitness, tactical proficiency, leadership, discipline and teamwork. “Maintain a high state of combat readiness and ensure that every soldier understands their role in accomplishing the given mission,” he said. He further implored every commander to lead by example and ensure that these values are reflected both on operations and in their daily use. The SFC Commander highlighted that the commissioned facilities have been achieved through considerable utilisation of resources. “I therefore expect you to protect, maintain, and utilise these facilities responsibly,” he warned, further noting that “the completion of a project is not the end of our responsibility.” Maj Gen Asaph Mweteise elaborated that the projects being commissioned today were made possible by financial support from the Ministry of Defence and Veteran Affairs through Special Forces Command, complemented by resources from our own savings. “These achievements demonstrate what can be accomplished through proper planning, teamwork, prudent use of resources, and commitment of personnel,” Maj Gen Mweteise further stated. Maj Gen Asaph Mweteise Nyakikuru noted that the newly constructed facilities indicate the beginning of our duty to preserve the investment. “Let us all continue to strengthen the relationship between welfare and operational readiness,” he appealed, further noting that “a well-catered force soldier is better positioned to train effectively, remain motivated, and respond to operational demands.” He also noted that welfare must therefore remain an integral part of command responsibility. The SFC Commander recognised both the construction committee and the civilian team engineers for their commitment to work and frugal handling of resources. He promised vertical construction at Camp Rufu to efficiently utilise the available space. He concluded by thanking the Chief of Defence Forces for his unwavering commitment to improving the welfare of the officers and militants of UPDF. The Commander of the 2 Infantry Division, Maj Gen Paul Muhanguzi, thanked the SFC leadership for the good work done, saying “this is proof that UPDF has advanced not only in combat readiness

Perhaps just a reminder from Mr Putin, to Mr Trump, that there are also other bad asses in the neighbourhood,😉!
Russia has released classified footage of the largest nuclear explosion the world has ever seen—a test conducted by the Soviet Union in October 1961, in which the "Tsar" bomb was detonated. The explosive yield reached the equivalent of 50 million tons of TNT.🇷🇺🚀☢️
