Fort Worth is a powerhouse of American defense manufacturing.
Delighted to see @DoWCTO and @lockheedmartin finalize a landmark 10-year @thef35 framework agreement supporting over 49,000 jobs across Fort Worth, boosting our local economy, and fueling America's military dominance.

It’s always great to have kids from Trinity Valley School at the U.S. Capitol. A tremendous group of 8th graders. Enjoy the rest of your stay in D.C. and hope to see you in Fort Worth soon.

Today marks 3 years since the October 7 Massacre, a day that changed Israel forever. We will never forget ❤️🩹

Three years ago, Hamas carried out the deadliest attack in Israel’s history, brutally murdering, raping, and dismembering thousands and taking hundreds hostage.
Today, we remember every innocent life stolen on October 7th and stand united against terrorism and antisemitism.

EVERY Senate Democrat just joined 94% of House Democrats in voting AGAINST banning congressional stock trading.
@repBryanSteil’s Stop Insider Trading Act is the accountability the American people demand. But every Democrat blocked it from becoming law.

198 House Democrats OPPOSED the Stop Insider Trading Act, which bans shady stock trading by Members of Congress AND ensures Americans show a valid ID to vote.
Today, Senate Democrats BLOCKED it.
Never forget: The overwhelming majority of Democrats vote to ALLOW corruption and fraud.
Shameful.

Bureaucrats in Brussels have no business dictating how Texas energy producers operate.
My Stop EU Overreach Act pushes back against the EU’s burdensome environmental mandates and keeps European regulations off American soil.

I was thrilled to have so many of my Congressional colleagues travel to Fort Worth and visit @LockheedMartin.
It gave them the opportunity to thank the men and women who work to build @theF35 fighter jet that keeps our country and our allies safe around the world.

Tonight, my colleagues and I honored the life of former Congresswoman Kay Granger.
She was a legend among her colleagues, in Fort Worth, Texas, and across America. When Kay was told she couldn’t do something, she did it anyway.
An extraordinary woman who will be deeply missed.
Congressman @GoldmanCraig gave a barnburner speech at the #RJCSummit:
"We have to protect the future of America for our children so that we don't have socialists running this country."
Tomorrow we will remember and praise Congresswoman Kay Granger at a ceremony in Fort Worth. Thank you to @RepVeasey and the entire Texas delegation in joining me as we submitted the following House memorial resolution to honor her remarkable life. congress.gov/bill/119th-cong…

On National Fentanyl Prevention and Awareness Day, we remember those we've lost, and we fight for the ones we can still protect. In 2025, @DEAHQ seized more than 47 million fentanyl-laced counterfeit pills and nearly 10,000 pounds of fentanyl powder—equivalent to more than 369 million lethal doses of fentanyl. So far this year, fentanyl seizures represent over 239 million deadly doses.
Just 2 milligrams—smaller than a grain of salt—can kill. This Justice Department is committed to combating the fentanyl crisis and keeping Americans and our communities safe.
.@MattKrauseTX and I tried for many sessions @JaredLPatterson. Start date should be the Tuesday after Labor Day and last day of school should be the Friday of Memorial Day weekend. The problem is, it makes common sense and you know what happens when you bring that into government? Good luck in the 90th!
Starting school during the hottest month of year is among the dumbest things we do as a state.
It doesn’t make sense for student athlete safety, it doesn’t make sense for the economy, it doesn’t make sense for ISD budgets, and it doesn’t make sense for the electric grid.
Cooling the largest buildings during the hottest month is an extreme waste of taxpayer dollars. Teachers shouldn’t go back until Sept 1, and students after that. Stay in school longer through May. Even early June would better than mid-August.
Legislation is coming (again).
Texas has lost a legend and I am deeply saddened by this news.
Kay Granger transformed the city she loved. Across her many decades of service to the Fort Worth community and all of CD TX-12, she worked tirelessly to improve the lives of those she represented.
She was the first woman to lead Fort Worth as Mayor, the first Republican woman to represent Texas in the U.S. House of Representatives, and the first Republican woman to chair the U.S. House Appropriations Committee.
Kay will be greatly missed, but her incredible legacy will not be forgotten. I extend my sincere condolences to her family. May her memory be a blessing.
