This is how we do it. We would be cheering you on also.
Hard as an Aggie fan to not be rooting for UNM right now. I love @RyanDBerryman @Coach_Eck and @CoachEricOlen. They all respect the rivalry with NMSU and are doing everything the right way. Yes, I threw up in my mouth a little saying it but it’s true.

🚨 IT'S TIME FOR THE G6 CONFERENCES TO FIGHT BACK!
The Big Ten and SEC are pushing to expand the College Football Playoff to 24 teams, potentially creating even more opportunities for their own programs while continuing to limit guaranteed access for Group of Six conferences.
Think about that. A 24-team playoff, yet the G6 could still be fighting over ONE guaranteed spot?
At what point does this become an antitrust issue?
Section 1 of the Sherman Antitrust Act prohibits agreements among competitors that unreasonably restrain trade. If the Big Ten and SEC are coordinating to control postseason access, protect their financial advantages, and systematically disadvantage competing conferences, there may be grounds for a federal antitrust challenge.
This isn't about guaranteeing G6 schools equal representation. It's about ensuring that powerful conferences cannot use their collective market influence to unfairly restrict competition, postseason opportunities, and access to hundreds of millions in CFP revenue.
I'm calling on all six G6 conference commissioners to immediately unite, retain experienced federal antitrust attorneys, demand transparency in CFP negotiations, and prepare to seek injunctive relief if the evidence supports a violation.
Expanding the playoff should expand opportunity across college football, not simply provide additional at-large bids that overwhelmingly benefit the Big Ten and SEC.
The G6 conferences have invested millions in their football programs, facilities, student-athletes, and athletic departments. They deserve a genuinely competitive pathway to the national championship.
The message to the Big Ten and SEC should be simple. You don't own college football, and your economic power does not put you above federal antitrust law.
It's time for the G6 to stop negotiating from a position of weakness and start demanding accountability.
