Today’s Feast reminds us not to despair when we have a heavy cross to carry. With faith, see it as a way to unite yourself more closely to the sufferings of Jesus; to grow in holiness; and to rely on the strength God provides. By his holy cross, Christ has redeemed the world!

@GoodShepherdCC parishioners’ donations of food remind us we cannot approach the table of the Lord to be fed by Jesus in the Eucharist unless we also feed our neighbors who are hungry for the food they need to feed themselves and their families! @CCDArlington

At times, we can feel insignificant and even forgotten in this big world of ours. However, that will never be the case with the Lord, who reassures us: “I will never forget you.” Be sure never “to forget” to include him in every aspect of your life. He is gracious to all!

In the midst of the conflict and unrest in our world, we can offer our help. This includes our prayers and fasting for peace. We may also offer our crosses for those in Ukraine who are experiencing so much suffering at this time. We do all this with faith in God’s saving power.
