Our Gen Z colleagues say that I need to make more videos, so here’s my first attempt.

Proper Café is officially open! 🎉
Watching the ribbon fall was a powerful moment—the culmination of a journey that has been scary, exciting, challenging and deeply fulfilling. We’re incredibly proud to bring DC a new coffee shop and full-service restaurant.
Come join us! ☕️✨

I’m excited to be building Proper Café in DC. An elevated breakfast concept built to foster community & connection. ☕ Follow @ProperCafeDC
As a native Washingtonian and child of an immigrant I’m also happy to see folks with a similar background get elected in DC. Makes me hopeful for the future of our nation
Congrats to everyone who ran in DC’s elections. I know that candidates, staff & volunteers leave campaigns wiser and more aware of the realities that our communities face. We need that wisdom for the new generation of DC politics.
90 degree heat? No sweat! I’m energized by all the positivity felt out here canvassing with a hard working group of volunteers to get Kenyan McDuffie elected Mayor of DC!
Make sure you VOTE! Election is Tues. June 16th.
Rank McDuffie #1 on your ballots.

For the first time in my life today I got in the DuPont circle underground and it’s… incredible. I can’t believe how tall the ceilings are and wide the corridor is. I’m not sure how long it stretches
Looking forward to seeing a performance down here!
Kenyan’s platform includes pro-family priorities — expanding childcare and pre-K, investing in affordable homeownership, and focusing on youth programs, including safer schools. While he may not use the exact words “family” and “marriage,” he’s focused on strengthening families
I hosted a Meet & Greet for Kenyan McDuffie’s campaign for DC Mayor @kenyanmcduffie. His speech demonstrated his relatability and capability. Given the state of local and national affairs, it’s important that DC elects proven leadership who can navigate us through turbulent times
