What concerns me most is the apparent enthusiasm for escalating war while American soldiers and taxpayers are the ones who ultimately carry the burden. As Governor of Arizona, I will always stand for AMERICA FIRST. That means protecting our service members, our military families, our taxpayers, and the future of our country. I respect our military and understand the importance of national security and maintaining relationships with our allies. But supporting our allies should never mean giving them a blank check or automatically committing American lives and resources to their conflicts. Our soldiers are human beings, not political pawns. Our tax dollars belong to the American people, not to endless foreign wars. Every dollar spent overseas deserves accountability, especially when Americans are struggling with healthcare costs, housing, education, and basic necessities right here at home.
