This is why I fought so hard against the bill on the senate floor, we were shut down by our own party. This bill was a vanity project for House Republicans and their reelections. Our voices were silenced, now democrats will raid this fund with impunity.
While all the races in Minnesota got the headlines Tuesday, almost nobody noticed what Voters just passed with Amendment 1... Back in 1858 Minnesota set up a Permanent School Trust Fund from 2.5M acres of mining and timber land...today it sits at $2.4 Billion For 168 years the State Constitution kept the Principal "perpetual and inviolate"...meaning Politicians could ONLY spend the interest and dividends,(about 2.5% a year) and couldn't touch the nest egg How did they sell Amendment 1 on the ballot? "More money for schools without raising taxes"...so of course 73% voted Yes Here is what it ACTUALLY did: - Stripped "perpetual and inviolate" right out of the Constitution - Bumped the payout to 4.5% of the fund's value,(so in a down market it eats straight into the Principal) - Put that 4.5% cap in regular Statute instead of the Constitution...and killed a 2/3 supermajority rule in committee 7-1 Oh and remember...Democrats just took total control of St. Paul right before a brutal 2027 budget deficit So now a Simple Majority can crank that payout higher whenever they run short of cash... 168 years of guardrails gone overnight. The founders of this State are rolling in their graves...

Watch @LisaDemuthMN give the closing argument of a great campaign. Then GO VOTE and be sure to call, text email, visit your friends, neighbors and family and get them out to vote too!
We wrapped up our five-day statewide tour last night with a rally in Lexington. We can turn this state around. An end to fraud. Lower taxes. Safer streets. Better education for our children. Minnesota is worth saving. It starts with your vote today.

In case anyone is wondering, no, Democrats are not capable of moderating. They will lear nothing. In their ideological fantasy, both victory and defeat are proof that they were right all along.
If, God forbid, Abdul loses, this will be a watershed moment in Democratic politics. The fire will rise. It's over. People will be radicalized against corporate, pro-Israel Dems. There will be a reckoning. If, when, he wins, it will be a watershed moment. And that reckoning will still come.

"Where's the evidence?" ... here you go.
🚨THEY FILLED THE CAR WITH BALLOTS… AND SAID WHO WAS DOING IT James O’Keefe’s undercover cameras caught it cold. A ballot harvester in Minnesota shows the trunk and dashboard packed: “You can see my car is full. All these here are absentee ballots. Can’t you see? Look at all these. My car is full.” 300 in one haul. When asked who fills them out: “People who work with Ilhan and other candidates… they work for them.” Cash changes hands. Elders get visited. Blank or open ballots leave the building. Minnesota law limits how many you can carry. Federal law bans the pay-to-vote scheme. None of it mattered. This is the same machine still fighting every single effort to require citizenship proof and clean the rolls. The same people who call election security “disenfranchisement.” They never stopped. They just got quieter about the receipts. Pass the SAVE Act. Clean the rolls. End the harvest. The patriots are done pretending this is normal.

Minnesota's next governor will lead 50,000+ state employees. Amy Klobuchar's former aides described an office run on anxiety. Lisa Demuth leads with respect and Minnesota values. The choice is clear. Vote Demuth tomorrow. 🗳️ #MNGOP #mngov

Why would any state employee vote for a tyrannical party that treated them with cruelty and utter disrespect. The state employee whistle-blowers have a lot to say about their corrupt union leaders.
OUTRAGEOUS: Why is MAPE using our union dues for partisan politics? MAPE should support staff no matter their political beliefs, not use our dues to support a party who played an active role in fraud & retaliating against staff We suggest staff cancel MAPE union dues Pls share

Joe and I were elected the same year. He knows what he's talking about. He and his wife are powerful and connected.
A prominent Democrat is breaking ranks on Rep. Ilhan Omar, saying the marriage fraud allegation against her is "almost certainly true" and warning his own party to stop dismissing it as a right-wing conspiracy. Joe Radinovich, a former Minnesota state representative and well-connected DFL operative, went further — cautioning Democrats to be "very, very careful" about defending Omar's finances, saying "any objective look at the evidence doesn't look...great." As Election Day approaches, the SAVE America Act is still sitting in the Senate. Universal voter ID is a common-sense safeguard, especially in Minnesota, where one registered voter can vouch for the residency of up to eight others registering on Election Day. Only Americans should vote in American elections.
