The UK’s Blue Belt @ukgovbluebelt programme is a real success story & partnership with our Overseas Territories we can truly be proud of - one that now includes Montserrat! 🇲🇸
Ten years since it began, more than 4 million sq km of ocean are now protected or sustainably managed.
Today we celebrated 10 years of the Blue Belt Programme. It has fostered cross-territory collaboration, bringing together geographically isolated territories into a cohesive network of expertise, properly recognising UKOTs as leaders in ocean governance and management.
