Fantastic to celebrate of the #CovenantHomeownershipAct in WA state with Rep Jamila Taylor and Rep Frank Chopp. And to hear about possible reparations to redress racial segregation and the racial wealth gap. @HDCSeaKC #justaction – at Seattle, WA

A police officer going three times the speed limit without his siren on hits and kills a pedestrian in a crosswalk, and investigators dig into whether the pedestrian was asking for it by wearing dark clothes or maybe having headphones in.
The officer was traveling at 74 miles per hour in a 25 mph zone just before his police cruiser hit Jaahnavi Kandula in January. king5.com/article/news/local…

@GraceKimArch do you know of any real estate lawyers seasoned in the world of #cohousing related contracts? We fielded a question about this recently and thought you might be a great person to ask for a referral. 🙏

We need all types of housing.
And we need thousands more affordable homes.
Building more housing for all income levels means that those who can afford no longer have to “rent down” freeing up those homes to be rented by those who can afford them. – at Seattle, WA

In our car-centric society (US), pedestrian malls have not proven themselves in the past - in cities of all scales. We just don’t have the density to support ped malls.
But would love to see that change. – at Seattle, WA

What if this was a train station again? And people coming to/returning home to Seattle could make a transfer here? It’d feel like we were a real city…with heritage and a real transit system. – at Seattle, WA

So why not make it a place is used?
One proposal for the #CID station has this being a space used for transit…not hidden from view for the vast majority of the region.
#scidpda and #interimcda to be united on this front. @SoundTransit needs to do the right thing…not easy thing. – at Seattle, WA

Years ago, during Portland's single-dwelling zones update, I did financial modeling to demonstrate how increased density will result in better priced housing options.
The results are borne out in today's new construction listings and my analyses proved true.
The math did not lie
